Depending on what you are moving you can avoid bending over thus saving your back! Used to move a commercial grade piece of elliptical equipment (which means it was heavy) that included 3 flights of stairs and could not have gotten that done without the straps.

My first lift was a dresser, the plastic handle let go and cracked. Safety issue for sure.

Work great for lifting awkward furniture. Even looped one through a furniture dolly to make a handle to pull the dolly with while I had furniture on it. Solid build quality just obviously donโt try to lift a fridge or something and it should hold up well. Not sure what the actual weight limit is on them.

The very first time my son and I tried to use this product to lifting a dryer up the stairs. I was ahead, he was behind (below) we were only 3 to 5 steps up. The strap broke on my sonโs side. He fell and the machine slipped on top of him.He sprained his ankle, hurt this shoulder and hit his head so hard on the ground he sufferers from the long effects of concussion.Thank goodness we were not higher up on the stairs. Thanks goodness it was a dryers not a washing machine. We donโt know if the straps were faulty due to a manufacturing flaw or if itโs a bad design. We donโt care. We donโt even want our money back, we just want to let you know, donโt trust these glossy pictures in their marketing, please for your sake donโt buy this product. Donโt fall for their claims the way we did.

Didn't use them as much as I thought we would due to having dollys, but they worked well when we did use them. Will keep them handy for moving around boxes or things in the future.

Overall, I like this โcarryโ better than the one for the forearm or shoulder. With something heavy, especially if you are over 50, you could potentially injure your forearms (break the bone) or the weight of what youโre carrying could damage your shoulder or spine. Holding onto something with my hands is definitely the best option for me. BUTโฆ.. the limitation here is the length of the straps. Itโs constructed well, despite it being made of plastic and belting material. At its longest length, it was difficult to grasp the box I was moving (with a friend, using two straps) because it was a bit too short to allow my elbows to get to 90 degrees, which is the best elbow position to life and move something. If it were longer, Iโd have given it a 4.5/5. The reason for the .5 shortage on the review is that the belting is not adherent to the bottom of the container being lifted. It slips and that cold be dangerous. I would have been better off using it in the โXโ pattern rather than one on either side of the box. Still, lifting 125lbs from the floor was sooooo much easier using these straps than it would have been (impossible) to lift it from the floor.
