Knees and lower back do ache after prolonged use. Probably going to get a proper chair

I can't say enough about this... chair? Stool? Sitting apparatus! I am a PhD student and am chronically at my desk. After my last round of exams, I thought I broke my body (and my mental/emotional health) and immediately started looking for ways to improve my quality of life at my desk. This kneeling position is so comfortable, and the pillow turned out to be way more than a bonus—I can't imagine how uncomfortable this would become without it! I also love that I can put my feet up on the lower level, allowing me to "squat" when I need to change positions. 13/10 would recommend!

Product looks, feels, and works as described. Arrived in good condition. Very easy to assemble. The padding seems appropriate. Before purchasing I read a lot of reviews and compared a lot of options. It seemed a lot of products were boasting much thicker pads. That can be deceiving. Sitting on a 4 inch pad translates to sinking down in, which isn’t something good. So the pad thickness for this one is appropriate. Time will tell if the quality of the foam stands up.The option to make small adjustments is nice. I’m a little over 55 and started with the middle setting, which is perfect. I’m not sure if the ability to adjust makes that much difference but I do like having that option. Nothing solidly secures where you set it in height, so sometimes the platforms will wiggle a little bit, but not a problem. The fabric is good and I think we’ll last quite a while. The only issue I have is that the fabric on the shin rest must not have been assembled quite tight enough. The very first time I used it it puckered in a couple of places and so it doesn’t look bad but it looks like it’s been used for years. The seat cover is just fine.Another thing I spent a lot of time considering is whether to get one that had the split pad or the single bench like one. I’m very glad I went with this one. Having it as one long piece allows you to adjust your position and your weight a lot more and you still have the ability to put your foot or feet on the floor if you choose.

This was my first ever kneeling chair and I would say overall this is an okay-ish introduction to kneeling chairs. The good:- The rocking functionality is fun.- The knees-lower-than-butt concept does work. It does help your back feel better and it does force your spine upright.- For the first few weeks I had it, I loved this thing.- I feel like this a better, more stable chair than the wooden ones that let you wiggle side to side. I don't like that style. This chair feels safer than that style. This chair feels solid and strong to me.- Adjustable pad distance is good buuut...Bad:- From day 1 the fabric used feels bad on my skin. It irritates my shins. The fabric is just too rough.- After a few months the foam on the shin pad wore out to the point that the chair became uncomfortable to kneel on.- You can only realistically use this for 45-60 mins at a time before needing to switch do a different chair. The instructions say this and I can confirm it. Doesn't matter how strong your core is, this chair cannot be used as an all day chair. It is more like a "give your back a break" chair after sitting in an office chair for 2 hours.- Something about the distance between the pads and the angle of the top pad was never quite right for me. I felt like every time I used this chair I had to move the pads forward or backwards, but then after an hour it felt like I needed to adjust the pads again. I am 5'9, 163lb, athletic build so YMMV. I think this chair might work better for taller people?- Having thumbscrews is cool but having to unscrew/rescrew 8 screws every time I wanted to move the pads is annoying, and I frequently was moving the pads.- It takes up a larger floor footprint than any other chair I have used.I feel like the fundamental concept of this chair is good, but this isn't a high quality execution. After 6 months of regularly using it the worn out foam on shin pad resulted in me using it less and less. I barely use it anymore because even though it's great on my back I don't like how it feels on my butt and shins. If the manufacturer used a less abrasive fabric and maybe latex rubber as a filler instead of foam then I think this could be a 4-5 star product.

I really want to like this chair, but like most reviewers I ended up returning it. I like that it puts my hips at a less extreme angle when I’m working at a table, especially leaning over a table to draw, but the overall height of it makes it too tall for using at a normal table so you’re stuck in an endless loop of trying to adjust one or the other because they just don’t fit together. And my back muscles still ended up tight after every use so I’m not sure how much more beneficial it is for back pain. And the angles of the cushions could be slightly more tilted. Like I said, a great idea but not there yet in practice. Can’t recommend.

Good kneeling chair for maintaining good posture while working at your desk.I found that the kneeling pad could have done with a bit more padding as I found it a bit hard on my knees if you are sitting for a prolonged period of time.Otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.

I was looking for an adjustable kneeling chair. I’m kind of short and I wanted enough butt support that there wasn’t too much pressure on my knees. Comfiest chair I own.

This chair went together relatively easily. It did come flatpacked with good instructions and all hardware. Once I understood that there is an angle to the pieces and it matters which way they go as a result, I had it together in about 15 minutes. The chair is relatively comfortable to sit on, especially with the foot rest that you can place inside (included). The chair design makes it easy to adjust both seat and kneeling pad using the outside bolts. Note that if you have a bigger butt, it probably won’t be very comfortable for you, since the wood sides can jut into your rear if you have the seat adjusted further back. However, that is probably not the norm for most people, so you should be OK. For me, this chair was comfortable to sit in for 10 to 15 minutes for meditation, but I would definitely not use this as a desk chair for long durations..

This chair is amazing. Larger than most, easily adjustable, and great positioning. It is also more aesthetically pleasing and better made than the other two I had before it that wore out quickly. I have no idea why there is negative feedback on other reviews about assembly. My 7-year-old who loves to build/legos put this entire thing together in a short time with ease all by himself. FIVE stars from me!

Surprisingly comfortable. It’s helped with my posture, looks great and was easy to assemble. I appreciate that they include felt strips to run along the bottom “rails” to keep from marking the floors. It’s nice having the rocking feature as well.Personally I find this more comfortable than a traditional desk chair and I don’t have the greatest back. Definitely recommend.
