This has been so much fun for my hockey loving kids. The battery lasts quite awhile. The puck moves fast on hard floors. It was built sturdy and functions as expected. It is lightweight and a great value for the money

Bought this for my 10 year old and while its a cute set I'd recommend for someone brand new to hockey and younger that 8. For older kids it's a little too elementary. My son doesn't use the air puck, but does use the trainer. It's all plastic and has suction cups to hold to the floor. It's a fully inclusive set with a mini net, air hovering puck and a plastic stick. I think it would be great for ages 3-7 who may not skate or really play hockey.

MY 9 year old hockey player likes it. We mainly got it for the positionable trainer and not eh accessories, including the sticks. He also liked the ball that comes with it. The small net seems kind of pointless to him but we also have a lot of knee hockey nets so he's not used to such a small net. He also hasn't used the included stick but again, that wasn't our main purpose. For someone who is getting this just for fun and less as a trainer, it's nice that a stick and the hover puck are included. As far as using it as a trainer, he likes how he can put it into a lot of different positions. He is also able to assemble and disassemble it himself with ease. Most of the time he uses it on the carpet because we don't have imitation ice but I like the suction cups on the bottom because when he does put it on the hardwood it doesn't skitter around the floor if he bumps it because it is pretty light weight.I think it's a nice balance of fun and function. My non-hockey playing younger son likes it to play around with using the ball and one of our million mini sticks and my older son uses it for stick handling practice with his indoor hockey stick and wooden stick handling ball. It's not an extremely rugged set as it is just plastic, but for stick handling practice I think the lightness and ease of use is more important than having something heavy duty that's not going to get hit anyways.

I was interested in this set as way to give my hockey obsessed son a way to play indoors other than just bashing a ball against the wall and so far this has lived up to my expectations. The set will be enjoyed most by someone who is getting a hang of stickhandling basics and even passing skills. Highly recommend with only complaint being that the set is designed for use on hard surfaces not carpeting.

My son does enjoy this set. He's still at the age where knee hockey.is.fun and that's how he uses this set. He's used it quite a bit inside the house after dark and during inclement weather. My complaints areas follows:1. The floating puck is to large, both height and width. I'm sure this is to house the electronics, but it's unrealistically large.2. The ball is nice, but again just too large.3. Because both the puck and ball are large, the dekers are too tall so the can fit under. This causes a training scar where my son has to lift his stick unnecessarily high to control the puck/ball.All that said, this is a decent set and my kid enjoys playing with it! Also if you have anything other than carpet, the dekers will stay in place very well with the suction cup bottoms!

This was a gift for my hockey playing nephews. They set it up immediately upon opening and had a great time practicing their hockey stick technique. They are each on different hockey teams for school and community and this will keep them in good practice even after the season is over. They loved it, so it gets five stars from me.

The video in the image section of this item was a very perfect way of illustrating exactly what this is. It has been found to be fun for not only my 9 & 11 year old boys, but my daughter who is 13 and other son who is 2.5 have also been having a blast. So the age range is wide for this thing! It is sturdy, functions as promised, the ball does actually hover! The price is reasonable, and it’s appropriate for indoor use on any flat surface. Cannot be used on carpet, so be aware of this. Everything is exactly as expected! Highly recommended to buy as a gift, in my opinion!!
