This is a simple and low cost option allowing you to mount your computer cleanly over the stem. I am not a fan of the out in front mounts and wanted to utilize the dead space on my 100mm stem. I did add a dab of blue loctite on the small screws that mount the quarter lock plate just in case

The mount won't work if your stem has a raise to it, the Garmin will not clear the riser. Also if your cap does not sit on top of your riser it won't work either.

Simple Garmin mount. Works great for mounting my Garmin bike computer on my mountain bike.Just replace one of your stem spacers. Won’t work for everyone if you don’t have stem spacers available to replace.

This product does exactly what it says: Allows you to mount any device using a Garmin mount to your bike stem. The mount attaches solidly to your stem; just remove the top bolt, remove the stem cap, install the mount, re-install the stem cap and bolt on top. It's made of well-machined aluminum and the plastic part (the one that fits to your device) is solidly attached to the device.Unfortunately, it didn't work for me: I have a mountain bike with a relatively short stem (as most relatively new mountain bikes do). This didn't allow the adjustable mount arm to stay flat on top of the stem, making visibility hard. Should work OK for longer stems and road bikes, though.

I have a OneUp EDC tool in my stem and needed something that would be out of the way of it, but not stick out of the front of my bars on my MTB which have a pretty short stem. This worked perfectly.The mounts on my stem are pretty wide, and after filing the corners on this some it nestles right down between the ribs on my stem.The mount holds my Garmin Edge 500 perfectly. It feels more secure than the mount with the o-rings and bracket that come with the Garmin.
