The adjustable width clamp attaches by turning the locking mechanism which tightens the rubber pads on all bathtub contact points.

The bar was reasonable priced, holds very well, secure. The price was so low compared to others I looked at that I was afraid it wouldn't be secure. This bar has made safety a reality for me.

It is quite steady but again not suitable for all bathtubs. Also the product began to rust within a week.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I needed something to help me get in and out of my shower and this proved to be much too low once it was attached but it would be perfect for a bathtub. I ended up having to buy a floor to ceiling shower pole.

I got this product and the inside clamp is drilled wrong or bent it's way out of alignment they should be parallel and it won't grip the tub.The first unit also had some touch-up paint on it which led me to believe somebody had already returned for the same issue and they just reshipped it.Requested a new unit and they sent it and it arrived today.Unbelievably. The same exact issue. Second set of pictures.Avoid this product and seller at all costs. It appears they've bought a block of crap units for pennies on the dollar and hoping to just make money if some people don't return them.

This is perfect for our tub; it was a snap to install. It is made with steel and has a big knob to adjust pressure. It doesn't take up a lot of space, was a reasonable price and shipping was fast. We are very happy with it.

This bar is excellent you don’t have to worry about any client kind of glue stickEy that would only come loose. This is built very strong and very heavy and it’s got a clamp that you tighten yourself just put over the edge of the tub and tighten it it really works well it will last like I said it’s very strong and sturdy

Bought two, one each for my elder parents. They both really like the product and find it helps a great deal with getting in and out of the bathtub. It is solid and made well and does exactly what it is meant to do, help keep people safe.

Delivered very fast. Finally installed it because it was for a elderly visitor we were having to our home. It went onto the tub very easily & is such a great support that we are leaving it installed for us to use! Excellent product & would highly recommend to anyone with a tub you have to step over!!!

I was very impressed with the quality of this product when it arrived. It was also very simple to install and proves to hold securely, giving me peace of mind for my elderly parents using it to avoid falls in and out the tub/shower.
