I was skeptical about purchasing these as my 2 main priorities were 1. Does it hold the wire tight? 2. Does the adhesive actually stick? I can answer both questions with a resounding YES! The adhesive is on par with 3M style "sticky hangars". The "locking" mechanism is secure and holds the wire tight. I even used flat R45 (ethernet) cable, and it did a superb job holding those nice and tight. Overall, I would highly recommend these. I hope this helps!

I've used these to hold wires in place when installing a dash cam, tidying up the HDMI between my TV and soundbar and some smaller wires around my desk. They stick well as long as the area is clean and you can unclip them if you occasionally need to move the wire for some reason.I don't know who needs 100 of them, but as long as the glue still works I can see myself reaching for these fairly often!

The adhesive is not very strong. It is fairly easy to rip off. I recommend this for simple jobs, not for something that you expect to stay on for a while.

I guess the 3M glue/tape they use on these things are about the best there is, haven't had one come loose yet on two cars, sticking them to the windshield and textured A pillars. Works like they should, and easy to unsnap to add another wire or two if you need to.

I had no issue with the adhesive on glass or vinyl. Just made sure I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol. They worked fine for me and did the job on routing my auto camera wires and making the cars look neat. Been in my cars for several months in Southern California heat and stayed put.

If you've ever used nano tape before, you'll know what to expect with the adhesive on these clips. If you haven't, nano tape is self-adhesive tape that works on smooth surfaces, and can be removed without leaving a mark. The smoother and less absorbent the surface, the better the tape sticks. So for sticking to glass and smooth plastic and smooth gloss painted wood, these clips are perfect. For fabric, bare wood, stone or other surfaces, nano tape is not so good. As you can see in the pics I've uploaded, you can cleanly remove the adhesive from the clip without leaving a mess, but the adhesive does stick strongly to smooth surfaces, and needs peeling and stretching to remove. For guiding dash-cam wires around the edge of your windscreen, which is what I bought these clips for, these clips are perfect. If I ever need to remove them, I can remove them without leaving a mark on my windscreen. Highly recommended!

I'm getting a 50/50 stick rate with these. I'm cleaning the surface with iso alcohol first, running cables against painted metal, bare metal, and smooth plastic. It says 3M, but they don't act like other 3M bonded clips I've used. They are also not the design shown in the photos. Similar, but different. Quite often, lifting the release tab on these pries the whole thing off.

These clips stick to most surfaces perfectly and will hold most cables tight so they don’t slide around, I love that feature. The only thing is slightly thicker braided USB cables are a bit snug and anything thicker than that probably won’t fit in here. These work perfectly however and I even used them on my car’s engine bay to hold cables in place and they’re holding up great!Update: after several months of using these, I have only seen on fail, where clasp comes open frequently. This is one I'm using to hold a cable in the back of a phone mount. It likely comes looses from pulling on the cable, but the clasp itself still works great!Even the ones in my engine bay are still holding tight!

The adhesive part of the clips is extremely weak and stops sticking to any surfaces as soon as you move a bit the cables.

Easy to use. Didn't hold up in a tough environment under the hood next to the Front wheels of our semi truck. The adhesive didn't hold up. Great product for a less severe environment!
