There is some inconsistency with the sizes of the marbles, and I'm hoping it doesn't get in the way of gameplay.

These marbles are pretty good. I wish the colors on them were more vibrant. They’re just a color, but the description matches exactly what you’re going to get.

Update: After contacting the seller, I was immediately credited and purchased a new set. I was very happy with how well the seller stood behind the product! I have changed my rating from 4 to a 5 star.The marbles are very pretty colors, but because they are not packed securely for shipping one of the shooters has a large chip out of it. What made me least happy, though, is that three of the four shooters are identical in color so three of the four players would have a hard time knowing which shooter was theirs.

The product received wasn’t the colors I expected from the photo and I had ordered them because of the colors pictured. However, my autistic grandson loved them anyway even though they were not his favorite colors. They were shiny and bright (except for the black ones) and he was very happy.

I bought these for my son to play with on his Marble Genius marble runs, and they have been fantastic. The colors were extremely varied like you see in the pictures (I've gotten pretty bored with the traditional cats eye style). Some of them were so cool looking I wanted to keep some for myself (although I have no idea what for). Most of them were glossy, but a smaller number of them were matte. The matte ones were extremely cool in my opinion, but may not be for everyone. They work fine on the runs. One of the big marbles was also matte. My wife and I fought over it....like 4 year-olds. None of the marbles had pits or chips. I did not get a bag or case as some people mentioned. It's fine. I would definitely buy these again!

These are really nice marbles. The colors are wonderful, they are bright and cheerful. I just washed them and each one is smooth and perfect. I like them so much I’m ordering another set. My package contains 40 marbles, 4 large and 36 normal size. I bought them to play games with my grandkids ages 3 and 5.

At first I was shocked when I saw the tiny container it came in, but after confirming they were all there, I felt like I paid too much as the stores carry marbles for much less. Then I really looked at them this time and compared them to the less expensive store kind. Although the ones sold in the store were a fraction of the cost, they were all "cat's eye" and dull. These are different, bright colors. Plus with four shooters, definitely worth the price I paid. Quality (for me) is better than quantity.
