About this item

  • Here in the Snugabye family we want to be inclusive to all children, and we know that clothing and dressing is hard for some families. That's why we created the Adaptive Sleepwear Collection
  • Made From 100% Polyester: Our fabrics are considerate to a busy schedule. Wash, dry, play and tumble this sleeper as much as you want! While feeling super soft and supple, the fabric is very durable and will just get softer with more washes.
  • Secure Zippers & Tags: Zippers, whether on the front or back are secure with flap, so they are not accessible by your child, who may compulsively undress. Designed with this in mind, the sleepers also feature outside tags, so your child is not bothered by them.
  • Convert-A-Foot: Convertible footed feature gives the sleeper flexibility to wear it three ways: Cuffed Up, Cuffed Down to extend the length of the garment, and Cuffed Flipped creating a footed garment.
  • Nickel-Free, Strong Snaps: Nickel is one of the most common allergens in the world today, so we just leave it out. Snugabye snaps are not only nickel-free, but strong - to ensure maximum comfort and longevity.

This collection was designed with your special needs child in mind. Made from 100% polyester fleece, it is super soft and warm. The sleeper also features a back zipper, which we know helps when your child is uncomfortable in clothes. There is a zipper flap and outside tags, ensuring your little one can move worry and scratch free. The sleeper is also constructed with our convert-a-foot design, allowing for footless or footed style.

Our toddlers went through a messy poop phase and we were sick of it. We bought them these onesies, one stopped being able to get to their diaper but our older one still continued the shenanigans. They’re over that faze now, but if they really want to get out of these, they can.Material was awesome, thick, soft, amazing quality. We were actually shocked one of our kids could get out of it. Value for money was definitely there. It was a divided experience for us but I would definitely suggest this to anyone going through what we did or to anyone with a special needs child. These were great. They didn’t shrink in the wash or dryer either.

Sorry to do this because i was so hopeful. The material is very soft and comfy. However our kiddo was able to get out of them within 4 hours and we live in an area where we would have to drive a ways away to return them. So after taxes we are out $80 basically for two outfits. Woke up to poop smeared on the wall and a diaper mess. We really wanted this to work.

My grandson who is autistic, is not fully potty trained this comes in handy so he can't pull off his pull up at night.

I've referred to the sizing chart and went with 2 sized down and the pajama is still way too big for my son.Is is not snug, but really loose and the collar can easily be stretched out. It is not suitable for children who escapes their clothes or tend to remove their diaper at night. The zipper stops at mid-back which makes the pajama difficult to put on and off and the flap only has 1 weak snap. The fabric is really soft though.

The material is not a fleece, but is too heavy for wear in the warmer months. It would nice to have access to the same in a lighter weight. Also, for the price did not expect a material surface that balls up (pills) when worn/washed. That said, based on my grandson's measurements, the size is a good fit. Will put it away until the weather cools a bit. Unless I find an alternative, will buy again.

These are great. We got the size 10 for our 11 year old. We’ve been having some difficulties with him removing his diaper and this saved the day. They are a bit thick and warm so they won’t work for us in summer but are great for the fall and winter

My grandson is autistic and the facet that these pajamas have a zipper in the back has been very helpful. The material is of high quality and the zipper is strong. It was nice to have a color other than gray.

After having this suite for a month the zipper broke and it’s pilling everywhere this is an edit of the review since I got a defective product the company was nice enough to send me a new one free of charge. I am very appreciative of that not many companies will do this. I appreciate it so much.

Initially, these seemed well made. However, the zipper is broken. Unfortunately, the return window closed on October 14th as the purchase was made on September 14th. My special needs son probably only wore this 7-8 times as we purchased four pairs.Update 12/4/2024: After posting my initial review, the seller reached out to me and offered to refund the money. Instead, I asked for a replacement as we really like these pj’s for our special needs son. I appreciate this sellers willingness to do the right thing and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again.

Perfect sleepwear to prevent my autistic child from taking off her clothes. I love how the zipper is in the back where she cannot reach it.

Ordered three pairs of these for my three year old with Down Syndrome. They are soft and warm and comfortable. He has not managed to wriggle out of them yet!

Our 2.5 yr old has autism and started the stripping out of her normal pajamas phase. I bought this in a few colours and sizes. Once we got the sizing right she was unable to escape the garment which was awesome. The fabric is nice, very comfortable, zipper on the back works great, and the gromet/snap clasp at the back of the neck is strong. HOWEVER....all three of these i've bought in different colours and sizes have all had the stitching start to separate at the bum... I was able to mend it easily but with how much this product costs and for this to happen to everyone i've bought within 1 month of using i feel that's definitely a fault of the design. Will I continue to use them and mend them? yes. Otherwise from the bum stitching issue the product is great and has worked very well once we got the right size. Our daughter is 2.5 but very tall, wears size 5 clothing, size 5's of this garment were a touch big and she was able to get her arm up through the neck hole and force it down to her waste to make her great escape. I sized down the a 4 and no longer have the issue. She sometimes can get one arm up through the neck hole but cannot get any farther than that, and yes she is safe and is not able to choke herself accidentally when this does happen (which is seldom now).

This back zip sleeper is great. Super soft and comfy. Well made. Great for my special needs grandson. I’d get more for him but they are so expensive.
