Do not buy. It’s horribly inaccurate. It is about 30-40 lbs off. Verified with a doctors visit as I had thought I had gained 40lbs too quickly turns out no it’s just this scale.

This is just your basic run of the mill old fashioned scale so it can work anywhere anytime without needing batteries. This reminds me of the kind I used to use when I was growing up in the 80s. Mine wasn't calibrated when I got it, but there's just a simple little wheel that I was able to adjust to set it to zero. I compared the weight to my digital scale, and it was pretty much the same, so this measures accurately. If you're looking for a basic scale, this is it.

Adamson A21 Analog Scales for Body Weight - Up to 300 LB - New - Anti-Skid Rubber Surface + Large Numbers - Analog Bathroom Scale - Affordable - Durable with 20-Year Assurance - Light BlueFirst impressions: Nice set of scales for weighing people. The scale has springs and a dial, just like the one my grandmother had. The scale has a dial so you can adjust it if it gets off zero.Installation/setup: Stand on it and look at the dial to see your weight.Final thoughts: I’ve had several digital scales including one that supposedly did a body fat analysis. All junk. Every one was erratic, giving terrible results. I’ve thrown them all away. Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with a bit of old school tech lol. I like this, it seems reliable and I don’t have to buy any batteries. Make sure, just like with any scale, you use it on a hard surface for best results.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I zeroed the scale with the adjustment ring on the unit but still found the device to be inaccurate by about 5-10 lbs. The unit feels like any decent quality scale but the scale is reading inaccurate leading me to not trust the device. The scale is analog and has an easy to read display. I would love to have used this but with the inaccurate measurements I wouldn't want to risk it. Hopefully this scale can be improved in the future.

This is an easy to use convenient manual scale. At first I thought it was under-weighing when I compared it to another older scale I had access to. I then decided to load some weights on it to confirm the issue. The loaded weight test surprised me, this new Adamson Analog scale was accurate and the one I had been using all along was off!So we have a good manual scale here, it has an anti skid bottom, an adjustment wheel to zero the scale, it weighs accurately, and it give you the readout in pounds and kilos. No batteries needed, no programming or connecting apps required. A good manual mechanical device, just like the good old days, except new.My only complaint is that the imperial units seem to take equal or second place to the metric. On this scale pounds are in red and a little harder to read in dimly lit areas than the kilos which are in black and more easily readable. Typically in America, pounds would appear in black and perhaps even in a larger font that kilos.

So I zeroed this out when it arrived and set it down. I jumped on and it showed I was almost 30lbs heavier than I weighed at the doctors office (on carpet) so I had a family member come over, who is bigger than me, try and they were lighter than I was according to the scale. So I moved it to the kitchen which is flat laminate tile and it put me down to around 20lbs over what the doctors office said. So I threw a food item on that has the weight listed and a 5lbs bag weighed almost 15lbs with what I could fit on the scale.Sadly I'm going to find another scale to suit my weighing needs since this one isn't doing it at all which is sad cause these scales are fun to watch spin while they weigh you.

The scale is perfect! It doesn't have any electronics in it, making it completely battery-free, and has a large weight capacity going all the way up to 300lbs! The surface area to step on is just about the same as my other scale, and it has a nice blue and white finish to it that matches my bathrooms decor really nicely. Reading the scale is still done easily with the clearly marked weight indicators on the top, even when standing on the scale looking down at it. It was fairly easy to zero it out too, making the measurements more accurate when comparing it to my now older digital scale. Comes exactly as advertised, and it's easy to use.
