We have 6 cats and 2 dogs and flea control was hard this year. We treated with topical and put collars on everyone and after a couple of weeks it seems to be much more in control. Out of 6 cats one did have a pretty nasty reaction to the collar, but 1 out of 6 just showed one cat was sensitive to the ingredients. She was fine after a little ointment.

UPDATED 01.11.2025 - why have these been discontinued? I know I said something prior regarding a batch we received with our subscription smelling different than they've normally but they still worked. It took forever to find the perfect fit for our 2 cats and 2 dogs. Im so disappointed that the cats version isn’t available. We have a subscription And recently received a new set. I dont ever recall them having the order that this set has. Its pretty hardcore and dont want my kitties snuggling me and who doesnt want that? Im wondering if something is wrong with these.

I bought 3 collars, one dog, 2 cat. I have removed my cats collars after 3 days. Unlike many purchasers my cats did not have any irritation from the collars. Their behavior was way off. I stuck with it. One starting drinking less water. By day 2 he was not urinating or pooping for nearly 24 hours. I breathed a sign of relief when he went 2 times. Sleeping patterns are off for both. They are sleeping in dark remote areas and sleeping way more. Day three, one is not going to the bathroom again...another 24 hrs despite drinking massive amounts of water. I read many customer reviews and pulled the collars off. So far my dog has fewer side effects. His behavior is off, urinating considerably less. He does have less fleas but it is still not satisfactory. Will do an update on all three and see if I leave my dog's collar on. I am dealing wth a herd of 20+ goats next door on one side, horses and 4 dogs on the other side of our property plus wildlife. Never had any trouble till the goats came. I have been doing everything naturally and had high hopes for these collars as a previous customer of Adams when their spray first came out on the market.

I love the flea shampoo so I tried the collar. Smells terrible. One cat was able to remove it. Another cat refused to move or do anything after it was put on him. After 24 hours I removed it. Had to buy something else that was much more expensive. I think that fleas are just becoming resistant to all these chemicals. There were still very active fleas after 24 hours.

We have three cats. They were scratching and I found the fleas. I administered a topical flea medication as well as attaching these to their necks. They are well made and designed to slip off if your kitty gets the collar stuck on something. I can attest that this feature works, as one of my cats came back sans collar after being out all night. They work as advertised and we now have happy, flea free kitties.

BY THE END OF THE SECOND MONTH THEY ARE NO LONGER WORKING. FLEAS WERE FOUND AFTER A TRIP TO THE DOG PARK.
