You have to PAY to print the forms using their software. I kind of feel like that's a bit of a rip off....if I pay for the forms, why do I have to pay extra ($50+) to print the stupid things?

Had to collate all the sets and 4 or 5 were missing

I have used this product in the past, so went with it again. The website interface was possibly designed by school children from the 1970's ... before internet. Also, they keep your info behind a pay wall only to find out that the website is so useless and full of mistakes that you can't access your previous year's info.Truly trash.

I filled out the forms and then realized that the kit was missing the 3 copies of form 1096

This is the first time ever that I've bought 1099's and they weren't perforated along the edge. Disappointing.

Perforations are sloppy, so 1096 tore funny even after folding twice before tearing off edge to mail. Cheap! The kicker is that these have "20__" (as opposed to "2022") printed in the calendar year box, and Quickbooks prints "2022"... so there is overlap, and it's a mess. Through a bit of panicked research, I found out that QuickBooks is aware and states that when the program prints 2022 OVER 20__, the IRS will accept this. I hope this is the case.

It was not the form. The shipping bent the top of the forms, so I am hoping they will still feed/print okay.
