These are true to size and work as a great trail boot. These are all leather with fire resistant laces and sole. I wore them for 10 hours today without getting blisters. I AM IMPRESSED. I'll see how they "work" tomorrow.

These were a Christmas present for my husband. He usually gets one new pair boots a year. We've never had a problem with any of his previous boots holding up for a year. I saw these a thought maybe something a little different would be nice. The description made them sound like high quality boots. He's been wearing these since Christmas and it's February 16th and they are literally falling apart. I've never seen anything like this before. This is just from everyday wear. They aren't exposed to any stressful situations or harsh conditions. These boots were not cheap so I'm really disappointed.

Great boots for what you pay!I ordered some expensive hand made boots and they are 6 to 8 months out. I needed something to wear to work while I weight for them. So I ordered the Ad-Tec wild land fire boots. They arrived when Amazon said they would.When I got them I had a large burn on the top of my left foot from wearing irrigation boots to weld in. Ya, not smart, but my regular work boots let go of their soles and the irrigation boots were a little better than socks. The break in was pretty easy other than the burn, and I wore them close to 10 hours a day, every day even with a quarter sized burn on my foot. The toe box, ball of my foot, arch and heal, all feel great. The boots feel stable when walking. The laces only lasted a couple days in the welding shop, as they are nylon or something else that melted. I replaced the laces with a kevlar nomax fire resistant brand. My foot is now healed. I put the boots on at 6:30 in the morning and work on concrete welding and repairs all day and don't take them off again until 9:30 or 10:00 at night. I where them all day every day and my feet feel good.

These boots are high quality, durability, style and comfort! From the first day I put them on, I was so happy I purchased them! They are men’s boots but so perfect for a woman as well with a nice size heel giving you just enough of a comfortable lift. I am usually very hard on my shoes, I work hard and play hard! But these shoes are one of the few that I wear all day on into the night, no problem.

I've had these boots more than a year now, they are still solid, soles still in good condition. I wear them a few times a week for chores, and for pretty much any time i leave the house that i'm not dressed up.I bought only a half size large, and went for the wide, and.. i could have bought my actual size, but the extra room in the toebox doesn't bother me. I usually wear a mens 9.5 or womens 11, and i would say that these are off by a quarter of a size or so, rather than a half size. i would also say that the "wide" is slightly less wide than one would expect, slightly wider than a normal medium. the leather did stretch well, and fits to my calf completely now, so about 15" as i have quite muscular legs.honestly, i took a bit of a gamble on these boots, as id have preferred something made in the us, and usually find cheap chinese made boots to be of much thinner leather.when i resole them, i will be going with a vibram sole with a slightly higher heel and pulling out the original liner and insole, but... beyond the cheap liner and insole, these boots are fantastic for the price.... if you manage to get the right size.

I bought these expecting a low quality boot. For a product made in China these exceeded my expectations. I'd say they are well beyond okay but not the very best. A name brand boot of this quality would run you well over 200 dollars. I bought these half a size too large like other reviewers said to do. They are actually slightly too large now. Maybe the company took note and changed the sizing chart. With socks on it may fill in. I would highly recommend using Hubbard's boot grease before wearing these. Give it a few coats and bend the boot in places it would get worn. I expect these will last a season fighting wildfires. If it goes beyond that I'll be back to update my review. These would be a good investment for anyone who doesn't want to break the bank.

I decided to order the "logger" style of boot because I wanted a change from "combat/police" style boots. I am not using them for firefighting but for security work, which entails a lot of walking in all weather conditions, and all types of terrain. They fit perfectly out of the box. They come with insoles, but I have replaced them with the more rigid "Superfeet" brand insoles. I have only used them for 2 days, and so far, they have proven themselves to be comfortable, and the soles work well on the different types of terrain that I patrol. I have only one negative thing to say: they don't shine (easily), but they aren't made to. But they do clean up well, and when brushed with polish, they still look good. For me, so far, they are worth it.
