There are a lot of blood pressure monitors on the market. We sought this one out because we already have an identical one. We have compared it with other monitors we have for accuracy, plus taken it to the doctor's office for further comparison, and we trust it. It is very easy to use, convenient, and comes with batteries.

I bought this for my daughter so that she can take the BP monitor with her when she plans to be away from home (where I use a arm-cuff BP monitor which is accurate within 5 max) longer than 4 hours.I took my my BP per the instructions and this wrist monitor was showed Systolic & Diastolic lower by 21+ then what my arm-cuff read. For example, wrist BP would read 110/70 Pulse 69 but the arm BP would read 121/100 pulse 106.

Quick and easy way to keep track of BP trends. Way easier to check your own BP compared to manual cuff and stethoscope. Recommend!

Tested this wrist monitor compared to accurate upper arm monitor and readings were totally wrong. Arm monitor readings have been cross checked with doctor office readings so I sure it is accurate. Very disappointed that the wrist monitor is totally useless for tracking blood pressure. Save your money and do not buy.

This is the FIRST ACCURATE BP monitor we have had the good fortune of purchasing. Have spent weeks with a VERY BAD BRAND trying to get a unit that was accurate. Will purchase A & D again if/when needed. Great delivery, GREAT PRODUCT.

The memory function of this device is a little difficult to access. Also it is accurate, and easy to use compared to a more conventional BP device. Ease of use is the main reason we bought it. Overall we are satisfied with this purchase.

I wouldn’t buy this BP monitor as my only one but I do think it has a use and that’s because it is small and easy to carry around.THE GOOD — The small size means that it’s easy to take this monitor with you in the car or while traveling.I’ve compared it with our regular ‘arm’ monitor and it’s within spitting distance of giving the same numbers. (You should switch arms if taking more than one reading.)I like that there is a light that tells you whether your arm is at the correct level.THE BAD or LESS THAN GOOD — I get the impression that this monitor might not be made for the US market. The monitor fits my mom wrist but I wouldn’t trust it to take an accurate reading of my husband’s larger wrist.I don’t find the arm squeezing monitors to be comfortable and I find this wrist squeezing one to be just as uncomfortable if not more so. It cuts off the circulation to my hand, which turns red.In total I’d say that this isn’t a device I’d recommend to someone with large wrists. I found it to be accurate when compared to our other traditional BP machine. I wouldn’t want this to be my only BP device but I love being able to take it in my luggage or in the car to use.

I am pleased with this wrist mounted blood pressure monitor by A & E. The quality of the materials and the build is first rate. I have a large wrist and this meter fits well. It is snug to affix before closing the Velcro strap, but this snug fit is typical of all the meters that I or my doctors have used that have a pre-formed and tensioned wrist band. It is easy to affix the wrist band in the correct place and the orange and blue indicator lights tell you when your arm is elevated at the correct angle from the table on which you rest your elbow. This places the meter – more or less – at the level of your heart. The main obstacle to getting up and running with this blood pressure meter are the instruction booklet and fast start up sheet. The instructions could serve to be a whole lot easier to read and to understand (older people tend to need these meters and this same class tends to have a loss of visual acuity). I have noted that, in general, small electronic product coming from Asia tend to skimp on the instruction sheets. A successful start up with this meter requires clear know how – and if you do not have easy access to the Internet where there may be videos – then you have to rely on the paper instructions. Please manufacturers, help your customers succeed by providing easy get-started instructions and tips. I was able to comprehend and apply the instructions with a little difficulty.I used this meter a good twenty times in three days to try it out and find it is the most accurate of the three BP meters that own. Results of comparisons to two full size blood pressure meters having arm cuffs are shown below:OMRON HEM-FL31 (correlation to a sphygmomanometer checked by my doctor)Actual Reading: Systolic 121, Diastolic 66, Pulse 65WELCH ALLYN 90104Actual Reading: Systolic 114, Diastolic 66, Pulse 64A & D MEDICAL WB543 (Subject under review)Actual Reading: Systolic 119, Diastolic 66, Pulse 66Conclusion: The A & D Meter is suitable as a “take along” to keep in vehicle or briefcase or pack if you need to take your blood pressure when away from home and it is not convenient to get to a pharmacy or doctor.Five stars for the product less one star for so-so instructions equals four star rating.
