If this were about half the price it might be worth it for the kids to use but the quality is far too poor for practical or serious use. It appears to be injection molded and the material is so thin that it deformed right out of the mold. The surface is not flat due to the sprue port being in the middle of the board resulting in a dimple or depression as the plastic cooled and shrank. So drawing anywhere near the center may cause your lines to waver or drift. The rail slides are quite stiff and sticky, so moving them to specific positions will prove challenging. The rail locks don’t hold well but only seems to add a little more friction to the already existing resistance in the unlocked condition. The only thing I can say good about this toy is the built in clip on the left edge of the board to hold one’s paper in place and eliminating the need to tape the whole thing down as one would normally do with a drafting table.

With everything I read in the description for this drafting table/tool set, I was really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately the whole product is disappointing. The description claims novice and expert architects and engineers successfully use this table in professional settings. What a complete joke. I am an engineer who hand draws blueprints, floor plans, plumbing plans, HVAC plans, Wiring diagrams, etc a couple of times a week. And this product would not help me with any of that. The quality of this whole item is very poor. It's not sturdy, stable, or easy to use in any meaningful way. It seems more like a toy than something an adult or professional would use.The measuring arms do not slide well, lock well, or even stay straight or level enough to make any quality drafts.I dont recommend this item at all. And certainly NOT at the price point it is at. A pencil and a ruler works better than this.

Unfortunately, this drawing board is not suitable for professional use, as I assumed it would be from the product description and the current price of nearly $50. The main plastic board feels flimsy, as though it won't hold up with use. It comes with a random plastic bag (to hold the rulers?) and no instructions, and it's not clear how to use the little white pieces. The rulers are higher quality than the board, but they don't fit together as well as anticipated. In general, this product is a disappointment for the relatively high price.

The Technical Drawing Board is a convenient and portable solution for drafting on the go. The break-resistant plastic construction feels durable, and the straight-edge lock mechanism works well to keep everything in place. I appreciate the included multi-tool kit, which adds versatility for various projects. However, I did notice that the clamping rail could be more secure, as it occasionally slips when adjusting the paper. Additionally, the transparent ruler and protractor are useful, but the markings could be more precise for detailed work. Overall, it’s a practical and portable drafting table, though a few small improvements would make it even better.
