Love it! I use to design houses and had the need to design my news house. Worked great. Easy to set up and directions were clear. Size is fabulous for what I needed. Did have to get use to the grip on the slide bar; It is a little thin; not as thick as a regular size drafting table. I don’t like the bar to slide over my work. I totally recommend!! It’s great!

I still haven’t used this board, but it seems sturdy. Packaging was great!

Received in pristine condition. Packaging was excellent. Came in an outer protective box. The heavy duty inner box had extra protective carboard on corners. Custom foam padding suspended the unit in the box and protected the parallel bar. In addition, the corners of the board had plastic doublers for extra protection. Ignore other reviews complaining about packaging. Easy to set up and worked well right out of the box. Parallel bar slides better when used flat or at a shallow angle. I have mine set up on a small rolling height adjustable table I had previously made from Rockler plans.

Acurit PXB 23” x 31” Drawing Board for Artists and Designers - Portable Workspace for Drawing, Sketching, Drafting, Painting - Multi-Angled Laminated Surface with Ruler and Parallel Motion Bar.I took a photo of how this came packaged with corner protectors as I see a lot of reviews complained about corner damage. (Please note that this item got relisted which generated fresh reviews and those old reviews don't appear any more). I also took a photo of one of the damaged corners on mine. The damage is minor and I actually think it looks like rework from manufacturing. Somebody at the factory messed up the edging strip and they added a bit and filled it with black filler.So this is a decent drawing board, I think it is plywood, I am unable to tell if it is a lesser quality wood like particle board, but if it were particle boards are more dimensionally stable and less prone to warping so I am good either way. The rule is square to the edges (not that it matters, as you are meant to get the rule square to the paper.)My only negative is that the maximum incline angle is not as stated. I measured the first raised level at 15 degrees from horizontal and the highest raised setting was 46.40 degrees from horizontal. This is clearly no where near the stated maximum of 60 degrees from horizontal. If that is how you like to work this is 5 star item. For me I would have preferred it to go to at least 60 degrees from horizontal, or even 80 degrees would have been perfect for those who draft standing up.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I’m a hobby woodworker and I like to draw plans for my projects so I can work out the problems before I get started. Before I retired, I had a large drawing board/ table in my work office but there is no room for it in my home. Drawing on the kitchen table has been a pain. I found this drawing board on line and I wish I had gotten one sooner. It’s great! I can set it on my kitchen table, my desk or on my work bench. When I’m not using it I just fold it up and put it somewhere out of the way. I took drafting in collage about 50 years ago so know how to use the slide and triangles. I now enjoy designing as much as I enjoy applying my designs to my projects. It’s a quality product that I’m sure will last longer than I will.

The drawing board I received was cracked and the parallel bar will not hold parallel even after several adjustments.
