Heating the billet and impacting it with a large 5000-ton mechanical forge yields an ultra fine grain structure in the metal, making it the absolute strongest flywheel available. Machined slots are used to carefully remove some of the material to make the Prolite Xact the lightest flywheel that ACT offers. The resulting low inertia reduces the drivability compared to a heavier stock flywheel, but what you get in return is a quicker throttle response and acceleration that is preferred for road racing.

pretty high quality but i had to retap one of the holes for the pressure plate.

This flywheel is the best. Couple of reasons. Forged means no worries. It is balanced and there will be no chatter with whatever clutch you pair 4his with. This flywheel takes almost 12 lbs off of the rotating assembly. Easier start up, engine revs much faster, takes stress off of crankshaft. This is a sound purchase.... ENJOY! had this SAME FLYWHEEL FOR TWO DIFFERENT iNTEGRAS. Go for it. Spend a couple bucks extra for this one so u have the best. Because racecar. Lol
