There are no instructions included (nada, zero, not even on the box)... and, the ports on the valve are not labeled, so you have to blow in them to figure out which is which, for a close to $100 item that's quite a big letdown.... and, the markings on the knob are invisible to the naked eye, it is also not what you thing (turn it on and you get cold, turn it more and you add hot water), it is a flip (up/down supposedly) to open and then you turn to make it colder or warmer, that's fine but the issue is the flip angle for volume changes with your selection of warm/cold, so say you start at (for the sake of argument not actual location) 12 o'clock and you flip up to open the valve and get flow, and then you turn say towards 4 o'clock to get colder, now your volume is between 4 and 10, and keeps going that way, quite annoying,.... and the shower port is the one that's at 9 o'clock when looking from the back, that makes it quite annoying when having to install the box (you have to have it disconnected.And the most annoying thing for the price I paid is that they do not provide you with nuts and compression washers to hook it up to your RV or boat, I bought an RV faucet for something like $30 and that came with all the hardware needed, really makes me think of a 1 star rating instead. Now I need to figure out where I can buy those from (or buy another faucet just for the hardware).Too bad as it could have been an all around nice item (which it is given the small size and quite nice hose and shower head) but these little things make it a letdown overall (I'm keeping it and that's why I'm giving it 2 stars and not 1) but whoever sells this should take a good look at this review and fix the little things that are rather simple but yet non existent (like put a deeper embossing on the knob or red and blue dots so you can figure out which way is hot or cold, or have a single ended arrow for on/off rather than 2 ends which make it completely useless trying to guess which way you go for less volume).
