I've been using a MoClamp (Google it) for decades now but because of how pricey they are I only have one as I do bodywork as a hobby. By using some trees (with tree savers), a come a long, and a clamp like this you would be amazed just what you can do to straighten out sheet metal.I'm not sure if it was a mistake or if it was designed this way but the screw portion of the clamp is at a slight angle to the jawed face it tightens against. It doesn't impact it's use much but it does mean it's not pulling exactly perpendicular. But this clamp isn't for fine work. It's for pulling back crumpled metal to get it close to where it was before the accident. The head on the screw does wobble a bit, like a C clamp so it makes great contact with the frame. I wouldn't mind seeing a hex head below the loop on the other end of the screw so a wrench can easily be used to tighten the clamp to the metal or loosen it without removing the chain from the loop.Over all it's a nice heavy tool that will come in useful for collision work. it's affordable so a backyard bodyman can own one. With a bit of ingenuity anyone can use one of these and get really good results.
