Premièrement, je dois dire qu’esthétiquement parlant ce sont de très belles boites de son bien construites. Les branchements arrière avec trois possibilités c’est fameux. Au niveau son, c’est vraiment très honnête une bass sec et bien sentie. Au chapitre des aigus, il faut savoir les ajuster car ils sont bien présents. Important d’utiliser du fil 14 minimum si vous voulez tirer le maximum de qualité. Au niveau puissance elles sont capables d’en prendre donc assurez-vous d’avoir un amplificateur assez puissant tel que mentionné dans la description du produit. L’emballage d’expédition en double boites protègent très bien le produit ce qui évite des bris de manipulation. En terminant j’aimerais lever mon chapeau au service à la clientèle de Goldwood . Quelle rapidité à répondre à nos questions. Toujours avec politesse et précision. De plus, le service en français est excellent. C’est un des meilleurs services que j’ai rencontré sur Amazon. Je suis assez difficile à contenter au niveau performance. J’ai pris la décision de commander ce produit bien que le prix me semblait assez modeste. Conclusion vous en aurez pour votre argent.

These passive loudspeakers sound and look nice. They have a sober black color, are not too big, fit well in a small or medium size room. And the price is very reasonable for a brand name product. Very happy with this purchase!

I ordered these speaker cabinets by the positive reviews that I have read on Amazon.ca.. This product was manufactured in China yet the shipping was 1 day early. The double cardboard packaging showed some minor damage. Upon inspection, there were slight dents on the cabinets edge near the horn on both of them. I managed to straighten these imperfections with my fingers and they hardly show. No fabric was torn. I found 1 extra screw (loose) on the top of one cabinet and have not found any screws missing yet. Bonus? I connected these to my 80 w/channel Pioneer amplifier as a second set (B) . There wasn't any problem and the sound sounded fairly clean. I haven't cranked the volume wide open and probably won't. With both A + B speakers on, the music in my 700 sq. ft. garage sounded fuller and with no apparent distortion. I mounted both sets of speakers over 8 ft. high to avoid any harshness to the human ears. So far, they work decent. But no big thumping bass at 80 watts so I added a 10 " Klipsch powered subwoofer. The sound is much fuller now and I started to smile. I am getting in the party mood. I probably won't send these speakers back due to the minor damage during shipping. Time will tell if they last and if I choose to utilize them in my 500 watt PA system someday. They haven't got a real workout yet. The1000 watt rating, MSRP price and the 5 year warranty is clearly printed on the cardboard box! Will Acoustic Audio honor the advertised warranty? Who knows.

i dislike that fact that the woofer didnt work in one of the speakers....,after taking the woofer out i seen that the wire going into the cone was compleatly off! boo!

AA BR12 speaker has crisp high, clear mid range with strong low end bass. it comes with three different inputs (binding post/banana plug + 1/4" x 2 + speakon x 2) It is a convenient design. I have used all three inputs but stay with speakon after all. I found one screw fell from the 4" mid cone right after I opened the box upon arrival my shipment. In fact, the screw hole was worn and it was unable to put back in. The cone still has 3 other screws in place. Hopefully there is no issue down the road. The build quality is solid except this lose screw thing. Buy AA BR12 and play it loud. You'll be impressed.

I bought these because I needed a set of decent sounding full-range cabinets for my wedding reception. I'll also be using them for general home use as well. I'm not disappointed!I'm powering them with a circa 1976 Sansui 9090 Stereo / Receiver / Amp which is conservatively rated at 125wrms/ch @ 8ohm. This amp has already chewed through multiple speakers because it is seriously underrated. However, on all tracks except the most bass-heavy rap (ahem... Fiancée), these cabinets do a fantastic job. There's definitely a strong bias towards rock and country with these. The Fb tuning on the cabinets is a bit on the high side. So anything with low bass will cause distortion and excessive port noise. If you plan on playing bass-heavy music, run a moderate high-pass crossover (150hz @ 6db/oct min) and a proper subwoofer. Also, the horn tweeter is a bit bright. My limited L/M/H semi-parametric EQ really doesn't offer the control to smooth the response of the tweeters.Bottom line: At this price, you are hard pressed to find a set of full-range cabinets that sound this good and can handle this much power. They are definitely a great bargain. Just don't try to push too much bass through them or expect ear bleeding volumes without proper pre-amp processing and amp power.

Hey Guys...These I'm a musician that's retired and want a kick ass Speaker system and Found these Acoustic BR12 3way Speakers!!!I just Bought a Sony 55" 4k 900E and Have the SonyX700 4K Blu Ray threw the Sony Str DH 590 receiver which puts out about 100 rms a sideAnd WOW I played Michael Jackson Live at Bucharest and cranked Big Time at Half Volume!!I used Banna clip cords for hook up but they have Spreader ons and regular Jack's too!Then I played Motley Crue Lewd, Rude and Tattood to test for Live Rock and after my Ears where Ringing!!!!!! These are Solid Studio Monitors for Home Theatre or Live P.A. Apps.They Have Rumbling Lows and Sharp highsPerfect......

Have to give a three because I could not get them to be heard. I had a 100watt amp and could not get them to even humm. Read that you need at least a 500watt to get them to work.
