I bought this one for my wife and she loves it! it is a shiny, beautiful gold plated number. We’re teachers and needed good whistles. Last year I bought the regular brass version which is maybe a little louder. But, both serve the purpose or calling our kids at recess and are free blowing and can be heard by all kids near and far.

I’ve used Acme Thunderer whistles for bird-dog training for over fifty years, but I’ve never before seen one this gorgeous.Much like my son’s ex-wife, it is beautiful and LOUD.

Always a quality product. Been using one for years. 60 year old whistle lost it's little"Pea" inside that makes the noise. So I upgraded to this gold plated one as a gift to myself for my 82 birthday. I recommend this whistle because when blown outside, the children always came when they heard it.

Gave this as a gift. The gold plate has a bit more shine vs the solid brass. Quality was 1st rate. Worth the $$ if giving a special gift.

Was a fun end of season gift for our son's basketball coach. Very nice for the price. He enjoyed it and i'm sure will be using it during baseball season too!

I gave this to my coach as a gift after a long hard year of practices. She loved it and it is a constant reminder to her that she is appreciated. It is beautiful and comes in a lovely box as well.
