I used this as a stand for pretzels to dry after dipping them in chocolate. This was the perfect size and I like how it breaks down for easy storage.

I liked the first one I purchased a while ago so when I needed another, I just ordered it again. Easy to put together, sturdy, & doesn't take up more space than necessary.

4 out of 5 stars because it's quite flimsy but for the price it's okay.

I did not have assembly issues like others complained about. Shelves are snug and there were no burrs interfering with assembly. End plates will flex out of alignment when trying to slide in shelves, but just be careful and there should be no issues. W just a little care, No reason to break! Individual pieces are strong enough that I would not worry about breakage unless handled negligently. I was a manufacturing engineer for 25+ years and I would say these are good quality design, materials and fabrication. I approve! As you can see in the pictures, I am using it to hold 5ML cryo sample vials. My vials are short and hang by the cap when rack is assembled as intended. This is great for storage in the freezer. When filling and using vials, I can swap the bottom and center plates and use the rack right-side up or upside-down depending on how tall I want the vials sticking up above the top of the rack. I prefer up-side down. it holds the vials a little more securely. The vials can be stood upright or held in the rack in a back leaning angle to facilitate reading of any labels.FYI - My vials are 16mm vials and I was concerned the fit might be tight; especially with the raised volume indicator marks on the outside of the vials. But clearance is perfect.Good purchase and you can't beat the price.

I collect a lot of fountain pen ink samples in vials before I purchase a bottle of it (if I like writing with it) and needed a way to store them (so I can see them easily) but also wanted a place to hold them stable as I swatch any new inks I receive. As you can see from the image, I chose to not use the top insert, but it still works fantastically! I was going to use a tiered lipstick tray but banked on this being what I needed. It def is.

Once you put this flat pack shipped package together, you have a nice looking and sturdy vial holder. The light blue transparent horizontal pieces provide enough contrast to see where the holes are at, but not so opaque that it distracts from seeing the vials (labels on vials if you label them).Don't be fooled by how the plastic seems to flex if you put pressure in the middle (if you are used to the old wooden or metal test tube holders from you school chemistry days). Testing with filling all slots with vials filled with water, everything was held without fear of the holder breaking.Only bad thing on my unit was that one of sprues from the injection molding was not trimmed close enough to make one of the horizontal pieces not quite fit in. A little filing easily fixed that issue.

This is the cheapest setup you can basically get for test tubes. It's a very flimsy plastic and it's very easy to break. but it's basically the cheapest thing you can possibly buy.
