The product itself is ok. I thought they were going to be a little bigger than what they were, but ok for my beta fish. Not really a complaint about the product and something to think about, but the water evaporates quickly and I find I have to refill often. Because of their small size, they’re easy to clean.

The clear option is still foggy and not clear. You cannot put a beta fish in this only a plant which is disappointing. They are still pretty cute, but my daughter really wanted to put fish in them...

I own the pet store for a couple of years and 99 and we sold bettas in tiny cups or in vases, and our supplier said they lived in mud puddles and rice paddies so they were fine. This is untrue. A betta needs at least two gallons, and a filter. Those poor little guys just sitting at the bottom of the cups and then if you put them in a tank they play in the bubbles and swim from side to side and up and down and you can tell that they need that space. These are great for propagating plants but please don't put fish in them. Also bettas are carnivores and cannot live off the roots of plants as we were also told.

I wouldn't use them for fish it's not enough room and the water evaporates rapidly. But my husband purchased them so we use them to root flower clippings and they work fine and is a cute little accent for a bare wall in my kitchen.
