I use these to put grease into areas.I cut the bristles much shorter so they’re stiff.

These are nice long stakes and are sturdy.

These brushes are great for small projects. The wood I have used them on thus far is primed and smooth and still I will get an occasional bristle coming loose. I'm not sure what other people use these for, but for my purposes they work quite well.

I use this acid/flux brush for thick applications like anti-seize, grease and sometimes touching up rust converter on the undercarriage of my Charger. The horse hair is coarser than a regular paint brush and can withstand being degreased and re-used however I dispose of them most of the time.

I tried my hand at plumbing about 6 weeks ago & it did not go so well. I hired a plumber the next day so that we'd have water in the house. I watched the plumber carefully and asked a lot of questions and he was willing to answer the questions. I also took note of the tools he used and made sure to buy either the same or similar tools. This flux brush worked out really well. It does shed some hair now & then but for the most part I was able to apply the flux ahead of fitting the pieces together and sweating the pipe. It made for an easy clean connection. No complaints. I wiped the solder as soon as it melted with a nice Terry Cloth Towel and later tested the connection and no leaks. This beats the cheap stuff in the all-in-one kit at the local ACE hardware.

I use these for various cleaning applications, usually when a nasty solvent is involved. They work great. They are also quite useful for applying flux for soldering applications. The price comes out to cheaper than a local big box store and with free shipping it is a clear choice. Will purchase again.
