It runs really good I use it all the time.i have been looking for one for my camper..it keeps everything running..I am very happy with it...if I do need another one I well be buying this one again.and it is ease to start and it is light it sounds like a chainsaw..my number keeps asking me where I got mine and I tell them from Amazon.

It works decent. It was turning off suddenly. We thought it was due to a load. But we finally figured it was the rocking of the boat. Keeping the fuel tank full makes it resistant to boat rocking. It sounds like a chainsaw idling so it is trying on patience to leave it on long enough for the refrigerator to work. But it keeps the batteries charged pretty easily which is it's primary purpose for us.

I've got about 30 hours on the generator so far and up till now it's been all good. Took it out of the box, filled it with the correct fuel/oil mix, and followed the starting instructions. Starts first or second pull every time. It's enough to power my TV, DVD player, and led lights at the camp. I've got it maybe 15 yards from the cabin and excessive noise is not an issue.

I bought this generator few weeks ago, it is amazing, working so well out of my expectation. The price is unbeatable, and the features are good too, portable and quiet. Love it!

I wrote a previous review that said this generator was pos. I misjudged based on what load i had subjected it to and a perceived failure. Anyway, I wanted to right my wrong by saying this little booger has been pretty useful. You see me transfer water with it. I can empty that drum in about 10-15 minutes with the rv pump. Ive used it to power my electric sawzall demo saw with no problem cutting through 5x7 posts. Its not loud and when you get one let it break in. Mine ran kinda rough first couple of hours but now doesn’t sound like the timing needs adjustment. Busts off cold in three pulls and would power 400-500 watts for a good six hours on one tank. Its light enough, has fat rubber feet and starts pretty easy. Only drawback is the plug panel is ok, but could be a little more robust. I think Its a good little generator. I probably have 10 hours on it now as of this writing. Probably 20+ hours on it and still busts off good

I bought this portable generator so I could operate shop vacs and other corded tools on my boat and to my surprise it's been working better than expected. Set up is easy and it starts every time. It runs fairly quiet, think of an idling weed whacker, and will run all day long if I need it to. Overall, the Aceup is well built and has a good compact design that's easy to carry. I think it will last a long time with regular maintenance. And to keep up with maintenance, I recommend buying an inexpensive digital hour meter as well. It'll also make the break-in procedure a lot easier.

I've only used this generator once, but I was very happy with the results. I took this generator camping, and was able to charge everything no problem, from phones and laptops to my deep cycle marine battery, which takes a lot of juice to charge! I even ran a projector and watched movies in the middle of no where. The noise is as described, equivalent to a weed eater running on idle. I just brought a long extension cord and placed the generator away from the site a bit. Do note, of the machine is not perfectly level it will shut off/ not run. I believe this is a safety feature. Great machine, good price.

So I got this to use to charge my trolling motor batter while camping .. it took 4 hours the day before camping to get it to start and run but once I got the spark plug gapped properly it ran alright .. it did do the job I wanted it to do and was not that loud .. you may need to do a good once over it and maybe run it for a while before depending on it ( may have to tune it up to run smooth )

Bought this in preparation of using it to make coffee and charging batteries when hunting. States 1200w. Started and ran it while home, thought it was okay. Got to Montana started it to make coffee, (5 cup 700w) maker. Ran for about half of the 5 and smelled like electrical burning. I restarted it and ran a bit more and sized. I could not pull the recoil to restart until it cooled down. Next morning it started but only ran a few seconds and acted like it ran out of gas. 6 times it did this. I will be taking it back. I am editing this to add what happened after this scathing review. Their representative actually insulted me that I didn't add 2 cycle oil to the gas. So if you want a little generator that doesn't perform to standards, and want to get insulted by the rep, this item would be that item.
