Does not fit threads on cylinder. Waste of money; should have tried it when it delivered. Now I'm out of my return window.

We got a set of torch tanks for our garage/shop projects. We have them mounted to the wall so they are secure. Sometimes it is necessary to move the tanks around depending on the project or job. We wanted a cap that would protect the regulator in case it got bumped or accidently tipped over. This cap is definitely built to last. The threads are clean so there shouldn’t be any galling and they are thick enough that it would be very difficult to cross thread the cap to the tank. Super easy to install but it is a little tricky to put the regulator on once the cap is in place, but that is expected.I am not sure how this would last in an outdoor application, like on a welding truck but the construction is very good so it should last a long time.I would definitely recommend this cap.
