I got this because I needed a way to mount my WebCam in an area that wasn't in the way. I have sort of a crazy set up where I have a 34 inch flat monitor mounted above a 49 inch curved monitor. It's a massive set up where one is stacked kind of right on top of the other. Then I have my work laptop that I have set up in "A: fashion, so there's nowhere to actually place the WebCam that works out. This WebCam mount works perfect.I was able to attach the WebCam to it and then mount it to the wall so that I can extend it out in front of me when I need it but then I can move it out of the way completely. This really works out well because typically if I'm doing video then I am either in a meeting so I'm not using the top monitor or I'm doing some sort of zoom training where I'm not using the 49 inch monitor. This allows me to shift the WebCam into a area that is not actually in the way of any monitor that I'm using when I'm on video. And then when I'm not on video, I can move it completely out of my way and it doesn't block the monitor at all.I mounted this securely to a stud in the wall. If it wasn't mounted to a stud, I might try to use drywall toggle bolts for a more secure mounting, especially if you're going to be moving the camera constantly I feel it'll work better long-term with the drywall. The camera mounts securely to the holder. It looks to be a standard size so it's very straightforward.I'm extremely impressed with this holder!

This AceTaken webcam mount is super sturdy and easy to adjust, holding my webcam securely in place. It’s perfect for streaming or video calls, and the wall-mount design keeps my desk clutter-free. The build quality is solid, and it was easy to install. Definitely worth it for a professional setup.

I got this for a heavy webcam that I have and thought I would attach it to the top of my desk. This will only work on a vertical surface. When mounted on a wall it works well and holds very well.

I got this because I wanted to set up a camera for recording 3D prints to make time lapse builds and be able to remotely check in on how a build was going.Overall this is a very solid mount, but just isn't going to work for me personally with the angles is able to achieve. I appreciate that as I move it around it stays in place, the tension in arms and springs keeps it exactly where I left it. The mounting screws and set up are also solid. I dislike that it only has articulation in one axis, so it can go up and down, but not side to side which would make it more useful. It also has weird lengths of where it can and can't go, which is the part that makes it not work for me, there are just some angels that it won't bend in without bending other parts or if it's in one position another arm can't bend as a result, so I'm just not able to get it where I want it, especially because I would like to be able to pull it out and be able to stash it up against the wall when not in use.Overall I think it is a good product, just not the one for me.

I have an old Logitech C920 needed to mount it somewhere, got this wall mount. Impressions is quality is good; the springs are pretty exposed so careful you only scratch yourself; not complicated to use.The mounting is done with a wall plate. The embossed branding on the plate is stamped upside down so I don't know if the hardware was put together upside down or just a manufacturing error. I took it apart so the text is side up but then the holder blocked the screw holes to the wall so I suspect the latter. Either way it still works just bothered me a little on the visual side.Pretty simple to wall mount. The screws are really long so you might need your own install hardware. Overall quality good for the price point.

The problem with the Brio webcam is that there is no way to adjust the height and angle of the camera. In addition, it is hard to remove the tab that is attached to the bootbottom of the camera. Watch vides on how to remove it, it is very easy. Once its removed, you can find the tripod mounting camera to this wall mount. I did not want to mount this to the wall but rather mount it to the table. Unfortunately, this does not come with the clamp mount just a vertical mount which needs to be mounted with two screws. Since it comes as two separate pieces, I drilled a hole into the table and inserted the holder into it and did not use the mount itself, while it is not super secure, its not like I move it all the time. Works great.

I like that this adjustable arm stays in position. I like that you can lock all the joints with a thumbscrew, so your camera stays where you set it. The reach is perfect for my workbench, withing about 30" of the wall mount. It's of high quality all metal construction, and the springs are strong, so it is really stable. I am really happy with this order, I am using it to hold my phone above my workbench for hobby videos, but you can use it for anything with a 1/4-20 threaded hole, and it feels strong enough for a couple pounds, like a camera and ring light or similar.
