Very happy with the purchase. Like new. Works great. New charger. And it came with a new case. And it came packaged so well you could have thrown it off the roof of a building and it would have survived just fine.Beyond that, everything meets or exceed expectations. Cannot beat it for the price.

Whoever said that this is the laggiest laptop they ever had they are lying. This is the most smoothest laptop I ever had in the fact that I have another computer that runs windows and has a little bit older GPU this computer makes me feel mad that I bought a Windows laptop Chrome os is probably the best os because of the smoothness the microphone audio is perfect. The 10 hour battery is awesome. Feels more like 20 hours. Speaker audio is perfect all of this. For $99.99 is a steal great quality computer.

Until this Chromebook, I used my iPhone and/or iPad for almost all of my computing needs. That has worked out well enough for me, but sometimes it's just easier to use something with a proper keyboard. I stumbled across this refurbished Acer 315 going for $99, and figured that it was worth a shot. I came in perfect condition - looked brand new out of the box. Setup was easy, and chromeOS and a handful of Android apps are a decent - but occasional - alternative to the iOS ecosystem. My only complaint with this device is the screen - it's big and clear enough, but the viewing angles leave much to be desired. If not viewed head on, the on screen images become quickly washed out or dark. To me that's a small price to pay since this isn't my workhorse, but there are undoubtedly Chromebooks out there with better screens.

I love this laptop it’s affordable and is much better than my old laptop. I have never used this one so it was a long shot for me. I’m still getting used to the buttons but I really like the design and it’s actually much bigger than I thought it looked like online. Really easy set up, battery life so far is good. There is no touchscreen just on the keypad.

I'm a software engineer for a living and have been using computers for a very long time. When my main laptop developed a problem that was going to it take a while to repair I decided to purchase one of these relatively inexpensive Chromebooks to have as a backup. I am pleasantly surprised with how usable it is. Its screen is fairly nice and for basic use of browsing the web, checking, email and doing zoom meetings it works just fine and also happens to use a lot less power than my main laptop (though in gallery mode, it's only capable of displaying nine people presumably due to the hardware's limitations). However, it pretty much replaced any usage for my tablet which I might as well sell at this point. For recreational trips, I'll now be taking this instead of my main laptop as its lighter weight, gets the job done, uses less power, and is something I'm less worried about getting stolen. In my view this Chromebook represents an incredibly good value and bang for the buck.
