Installed the rotors and it eliminated the shimmy I was feeling in my pedal. OEM rotors at half the cost. Not OEM quality, actually OEM.

I was back and forth on whether to use the standard ACDelco advantage or upgrade to the ACDelco gold. Other sites the price difference is much greater than here through Amazon but even though it was less than ten dollars more for the gold i just did not want to waste the money if i did not need the special "gold" line. I tend to not go with the top of the line nor the bottom line cheapest off brands but somewhere in the middle, which is the advantage line. I did some research online but not a whole lot other than the additional rustproof coating on the gold. I did my own "test". I purchased both. I hated to put two different rotors on left and right, but my curiosity got the best of me. I can tell you that if the gold line is within your budget, it is an all-around higher quality rotor. Not just the coating. Although they both met the same specs on sizing, everything about the gold was much better. It was obviously two different manufacturers making the advantage line and the gold line. ACDELCO Imo has other companies make these rotors. Of course, I cannot tell which one brakes better but just looking closely at the differences I am always upgrading to the gold. Based on the small price difference it's a no brainer to choose this ACDelco gold rotor over the ACDelco advantage (silver) rotor
