I had one going out on my C5 Corvette. It was making quite a racket. I replaced it with this one - a fairly easy job - and no more noise. The bearings on the old one were toast. Side by side, this new one struck me to be of the same quality as the one I removed. Very similar in weight.

It's an idler, some thing hard to get enthusiastic about! It works well, lasts a long time.

Great build quality for easy installation in my 4cly 2007 Ford Escape hybrid. Turns out my original didn’t fail but was loose at the bearings compared to new. The new bearing has OEM equivalent resistance to balance out the accessories belt.
