Don't get the platinum spark plugs. Get these iridium. They both fit great so don't be fooled like I was. Amazon and AutoZone will tell you the platinum ones fit but if you go to a GM parts finder only the iridium ones are recommended. So if you have a rough idle, intermittent hard crank but eventual start, these will likely solve your problem especially if you're running platinum.I had just rebuilt the heads on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 V8 due to AFM lifter failure. I wasn't about to skip on the spark plugs but I did cheap out. I got maybe 300 miles out of the platinum ones before the rough idle and intermittent hard crank got bad enough for me to notice. It was too subtle to trigger any codes though. A mechanic friend told me these engines are notorious for running like crap due to the spark plugs if 1) they're not *exactly* at 0.040 gap and 2) if you run anything other than iridium. This is true especially for 2007 to 2013. He said there was a TSB for it but I never found it. Still, I replaced them and 600 miles later the truck is running smooth. As far as the gap accuracy please use a wire gauge and not the coin/ramp style. The AutoZone ramp style was off by 0.02 in my case. And trust me, the spark plugs will be messed up. For me only 2 of 8 came accurately gaped. I don't blame the manufacturer but the shipping process. I didn't want to deal with the gapping because you can mess up the electrode if you don't take your time adjusting the guard. This is why I thought getting some from AutoZone would be better. Theirs were bent worse plus they were more expensive.TLDR: get these.

7 out of 8 were good. Installed all 8 and started getting a misfire on one cylinder. Pulled it out and the gap was nowhere near what it should be. Went to the store and bought a new one acne no problems since. Overall good product, just double check them before installing.
Wrong one how to got my money back 😡

These plugs were the correct original grade for my 2011 chevy Silverado 5.3L.However, I had two of them blow out long before there due date. They should be good for around 100 000 km, but those two only lasted about 25 000. I replaced them, hopefully they will make the run. If not next time I’m going NGK.

My truck was way overdue for a general tune-up maintenance that I used to do. Being out of practice for some time, I decided to go ahead and order a set of AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs (best) to replace the last change done by my mechanic (at least 2 years ago/shame on Me!) ... I finally did the swap a couple of days ago when the weather was not as HOT as it's been. So far, so good, I noticed a great improvement on the gas pedal, however I believe I did a BuBu on the LAST DARN plug on the passenger side (a BITCH to change), and I may have cracked the porcelain shaft while tightening the new last plug. 🤬 All my fault... Just ordered a replacement to change over the weekend, as I am noticing a bit of skip/backfire while idling, and I am almost certain may be that last spark plug that I probably damaged. The older plugs lasted too long (my neglect); however, when I examined the electrode tip and condition, they seemed to be in fairly good shape for such a long time working like Hell!Hope these new AC Delco ones are as good... Will See... 🤞

About a year ago, I replaced the plugs in my 6.0 Litre engine in my 2009 Yukon Hybrid. I recently noticed a "Fish bite miss" at idle. I scoped the coils and found some weird Ignition waveforms especially on #1. I pulled the plug and found half the insulator broken and missing. They were a "Quality Brand" Platinum Plug in a set, and 2 in the set were different part numbers. There OEM Iridium Plugs corrected the occasional irratic missing at idle and the engine is smooth again. GM recommends these plugs, and I agree.
