They regulate various parts of your vehicle's engine by receiving input from sensors and additional modules and referencing that information back to other sensors, modules, and areas of the vehicle. Remanufacturing the engine control module is an industry standard practice that involves disassembly of existing units, and replacing components that are most prone to wear with new components. Just want to say a few words about the service and the product. It was with great pleasure when the post man delivered the PCM yesterday. I was not expecting such great response and fast delivery. The PCM cured all of the problems I was having with my Cadillac. I had no problem installing the PCM, it was an identical replacement for the one that was already in the car. My pleasure with the whole experience is very positive. Always use genuine ACDelco replacement parts.
