This product is well made fits just right. Placing a small amount of high temp grease at the lip helps create a secondary seal. No more leaks!!!

This seal has a steel lip making it a breeze to swap out. However aftermarket seals do not have this lip. Sure they work, but man these r 100% and make for a short easy swap. If your rig is something that you plan to still be running years later.

So Amazon decided to change something which says it wont fit my truck anymore. ACDelco information says it will fit. When I bought it, Amazon information was correct. Anyway, this seal fits the rear differential, end of drive shaft, for a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Z71 10-bolt rear differential. Buy RTV with this seal. Some installers use just grease on press fit, but the original seal had RTV on it when I removed it.

Worked great and fit my 2000 Silverado 5.3 2WD. I bought the other seal that is orange and also says it fits my truck but it doesnt.
