The part worked great and resolved the issue I had with my horn suddenly going off because the switch was working intermittently. However I did receive one with bent pins that even though I straightened the pins out shorted out lower in the switch so I had to replace it again.

Installed in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier. Works great.Front driver's side and passenger side Switch. Replace if dome light doesn't come on uponopening the door or/and radio doesn't turn off upon leaving with keys out of ignition.1. Use vice grip pliers to grab the outer ring.2. Pull out to break the tabs holding the old one in.3. Lift up on retaining tab and remove from connection.4. Connect new switch into connection.5. Push new switch into hole such that the tabs fold into the hole.6. Switch automatically adjusts upon first door closing.

No problem with the switch, but before buying, be sure to check on an auto parts web site that this is the switch you need. I needed a jamb switch for the front door of a Saturn Vue. After receiving it, I discovered this switch is for the rear door. I could would have avoided this mistake by just doing a few minutes of research.
