These were compared to a Fowler set during an inspection.*I am still using these 2 years later, and have had great success with them.* -January 2024The bad : The inside of both jaw sets are not ground as flat, therefore there is a bit of deviation in the measurements.Specifically , the inside measuring jaws were about 5 thousands out. (.005")The good : We tested on standards up to 6 inches. At 6 inches they were almost a half thousand out (.0003~). That is good for something of this price! If you are getting that precise with calipers, do yourself a favor and pick up a micrometer.These are heavy! They really do have a nice weight to them. The metal finish is acceptable , it is not satin or coated , but it is nice enough. The dial is big and easy to read.The action feels smooth with no skips or bumps. The case is also acceptable, it's not padded , but it keeps the calipers clean and dry.4/5 I would recommend to new/apprentice machinists , hobby machinists or as a set you use for roughing before micrometer.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these 12” dial vernier. They turned out to be as good a quality as most other brands I have bought. Consistent with in .0005 on the dile on OD & ID measurements over 12” on this one I received.

I'm tired of using digital calipers, the batteries seem to go flat after just a few months and the tool becomes useless. This analog tool has no batteries, is easy to use, very accurate (for the price) well made, and works smoothly.

I bought these calipers for use in our shop where precision is a must. I have owned/currently own 4 pairs of high quality expensive calipers and these cheap ones are just as accurate. I’ve never had them be off. Repeatability is good. They are good within about .0001-.0005

A little more weight than other brands but it works perfectly. Calibrated with 0% error along the whole range. Definitely worth the money.

I did not want a digital caliper because I find that although convenient, a well made accurate dial caliper can consistently allow you close to 1/10,000" accuracy if well maintained and not abused. I have run this caliper against several calibration blocks accurate to 5/100,000" and other accurate calipers and it is definitely capable of holding 1/10,000" accuracy. Great for money. Well made and precise.

Tool barley passed inspaction. Thousandth under at 1", thousandth over at 3". Best used as a quick reference tool but anything +-3 thousands it shouldn't be relied on.

I’ve used nothing but the top name brands of calipers for my whole career. I recently had to send one of them out for repair after dropping them. I bought this brand to fill the one month gap. I couldn’t have been more impressed. They felt a little gritty at first, but within a couple of days, smooth as silk. They are accurate within .001.

These seem fine, reset to zero every time checked measurements to a calibrated height gauge within .002 works great for me. Well built and batteries never run dead would buy again
