I bought this for my Grandson. The bellow is way too tight. Hard to pull apart.I tried playing it and it's nearly impossible to get sound out of it due to the tightness.... The sound is not immediate when bellows are pulled or pushed and alot force needs to be applied for sound to produce. It's pretty much only good as a decoration.Definitely not a kids starter accordion or toy.

This accordion - and others of the same make, but sold under different names - works. It actually plays like an accordion should, but it has one major drawback that really makes it too difficult to use: The bellows are so tight that when you draw the accordion open with the left hand, it pulls the whole accordion with it. In the videos, you see a gentleman playing it tightly against his chest with the straps very, very tightly attached. He is likely pushing the accordion against his chest while fingering to help it stay put. If you purchase this accordion, you should consider spending a lot of time breaking in the bellows and creating a strap system that fits your little players as tightly as possible.Other accordions of this size have a "thumb strap" for your right hand - but with a piano accordion this doesn't make sense, so it's left off here.

I wasn’t expecting much but a toy. I don’t know what a real accordion feels like but it’s a little hard to retract back and forth. It’s good enough to learn from.
