I needed some shrink tube wrap for my yellow rods, and this was perfect for that. Fits my freshwater rods (although I probably should have ordered a smaller size).

This product is so easy to use. I slipped it on the pole and use my heat gum to shrink it. The material form fit to my pole and give is a nice look and non-slip surface. I used electrical tapes to secure the two ends to keep it from slipping off. This wrap gives provide the grip and protection. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered this shrink tubing hoping that it would be the right size, and it would have been if it was a few millimeters bigger. I grabbed this one, hoping it would be just big enough to put on the rod. Unfortunately, it did not fit on the rod I bought it for, nor would it fit on any of my other rods. This isn't the fault of the product, but me being hopeful it would fit, as I had never done this mod to any fishing rod before. I ended up buying another product from somewhere else, and returned this one.The shrink tubing itself was well made, and had a tacky feel to it, providing plenty of grip. Since I did not use it, I cannot say how well it formed to the rod, or how much it shrank down. It definitely felt better than the grip I ended up putting onto the rod, but since I grabbed one that was too small, it can't be helped.
