Rotor seemed to be warped so when tightening it up puke not allow the advance to move freely. Cap when locked into place twisted back and forth slightly not allowing proper timing

the accel cap and rotor kit is really nice i use accel products all the time. this accel cap and rotor replaced a MSD cap and rotor that i thought i would give it a try the and the MSD cap and rotor never lasted 10,000 miles. i really dought if i ever buy MSD products again i think over the past few years MSD's quality has went down and Accel products have always ben a better quality product in my opinion. MSD just has not worked out for me so i would go with Accel parts

ACCEL 8122 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit - TanMuch better looking and fit and finish than the junk sold at the local big chain partsstores with out mentioning names. One of the other reviewers mentioned on anotherreview of a MSD cap and rotor set to use dielectric grease on both sides of the rubber disc under the coilso I did this and worked like a charm no moisture getting in and no loose of spark transfer in operation.Buy with confidence.RagenRat
