I used to sell this brand when I was a parts manager at an engine shop, and had faith in their performance distributors. So this cap was a good price and looked like great quality, with brass contacts for the plug wires inside and out. Perfect for my 98 Jeep ZJ. Instant improvement in acceleration and smoother idling. 5 stars.

There is not too much to say about this particular distributor cap. Seems one USA (NOT Asia!) factory cranks them out, with the same brass parts, the same mold numbers and markings on the inside and out, and every other aspect identical except for the color of plastic being used. A "Standard" model sold by mechanics may be blue, and it is the exact same part. So buy the best priced version. Being sold as "Accel" does not make this particular part any better than other replacements, or the original Mopar unit. Same goes for their costly rotor.
