This egg Holder is So cute. I LOVE the nice Wooden Acacia wood quality. It is smooth to the touch and has a nice finish to it. This does require a bit of assembly which isn't too hard. It simply is putting the dowels into the premade holes of the egg holder. However what made it hard was that the holes from one tray to another didn't line up perfectly. And to add to that the dowel size in some of them didn't quite fit. It took a bit of push and shove. Bending and swaying to get everything to come together. I wished everything lined up a bit more and that the dowels were the actual size to the holes. That would have made assembly much easier. But once it is assembled everything looks great from there. So cute. Love the way my eggs are now easily accessible in my fridge. LOVE It.

This is much nicer than I realized it would be. It is a little difficult to put together, even though there is no glue, screws, or anything. There are just 4 dowels that slide up into the top and down into the bottom. They are tight and would be hard to pull apart once you have it, but it took so much force to push together that I thought I might break the dowels, and I was trying to be pretty careful not to. Once together, this thing is stunning.

Do I recommend the Wooden Double Layer Egg Holder? Yes!I’ll begin by saying that I had no idea what size eggs were pictured in the advert. We typically choose large or extra-large eggs so I was unsure if this would even work for my family’s needs. At the moment, we have large eggs, and that is what’s pictured here. I went outside to take clear photos for this review. I have a feeling the eggs in the advertising photos are medium. The description says the egg holder will fit any size egg, and I have reason to believe this is true. If it does not work for extra-large eggs, then, I will return to edit my review and add additional photos to reflect any new discoveries.The double-layer egg holder is very efficient, and I agree that it could also function as a nice serving tray for deviled eggs and all varieties of “Easter” eggs that align with the traditions of various countries. This may work with dippy eggs, too.It took me a bit of wriggling to properly secure one of the dowels, but it was perfectly fine after I got it sorted. This is surprisingly sturdy and a unique addition to the kitchen (whether set on the table, placed on the counter, or stored in the refrigerator).
