Don’t listen to that 2 star review about missing pieces and being chipped. This bed’s packaging is hands-down phenomenal. The outer box was just for protection. There is another inner-wrapped box that is packed so well it’s virtually impossible to get scratches or chips, much less any missing pieces. The bed is very sturdy and easy to put together. The slats are really neat too. They utilize velcro and dowel pins to stay put. Highly recommend this bed.

The main package box was packaged in an outer box , all the styrofoam was individually wrapped in plastic bags. Very compact and very well thought out packaging. The bed frame and nightstand are beautiful wood and finish. I highly recommend this bed and nightstand!!!!! Very sturdy and definitely a 5 out of 5 rating and I’m very fussy.

I assembled the bed frame in one afternoon even after making some mistakes. I had to prop up the headboard side to screw in the base, which was relatively easy with a couple boxes without help from a second person. The frame is quite sturdy and stylish, and went along well with the wood tones of other manufacturers. Definitely recommended

I really like the finished assembled look and feel of this Acacia solid wood bedframe. It is very well made with precision. It does take more than a half hour to assemble. I would recommend two things when assembling it. Take your time, don't tighten the bolts until each section has all the bolts in place and just about tight by hand, only tighten when that section, headboard, footboard side rails etc.is complete. Also you will appreciate using a different allen wrench than the one provided. I used a ball hex allen wrench, as this allows you to still install the bolts while the wrench is at a different angle to the bolt and not loose control with turning the bolts into place.The only complaint, I have and it's minor is that the locating pins that help to evenly space the slats, don't line up with pins on the opposite rail, leftside to rightside, I mean the slats aren't wide enough to reach the pins or the slats were improperly drilled. I do really like the velcro retaining of the slats. I also really like the much needed extra under bed space this Acacia bedframe provides. I would recommend this bedframe to anyone.

I bit the bullet and bought a thuma bed frame a year for my own room which was a fraction of the cost of this. Recently I needed a bed frame for our guest room and I decided to purchase this. It is 95% as good as my thuma. Sturdy, extremely good quality, beautiful wood, and easy to put together. This is a quality frame and I have one to compare it to that cost 4 times as much. So this is a steal for the price

This bed frame not only looks nice it is well made. Easy to assemble and instructions were clear. The only issue I had was one of the pre drilled holes had a split in it. Contacted customer service and they were quick to respond and very helpful. The part is on back order and will take a month to get to me. That is a little inconvenient, but not too much of an issue.

I almost bought a $2,000 bed. I read some reviews and bought this one instead. Saved $1,600 and am absolutely to certain this is a sturdier and better looking bed. So, first of all- Thank you Amazon delivery guy for getting this to my front door. Pretty awesome! Secondly, this thing was packaged so thoughtfully. Third, assembling this was pretty much a breeze if you can follow some fairly simple instructions. I did the assembly by myself. I 100% could see where a couple times it would have been very helpful to have another set of hands, but it isn't necessary if you are a somewhat handy person. (You don't need to be a mechanic). This is super sturdy, the wood is so pretty, and you get this nice little end table. So cool!

For the price I would expect this to have all the holes needed for assembly pre drilled. Mine was not. Had to drill my own holes on a $400+ bed frame, pathetic. Save your money…

Nice frame. Well designed and seems sturdy. Smooth corners and edges so you don’t knock your shins or legs as you get in and out. Wood is good quality. Under-bed slats are plywood. Note that our mattress (Serta memory foam-no box spring) reached up higher on the headboard than the photos so only two are slats are showing. Also there is an odor, probably from the varnish, at first. It would have been a nice finish if the headboard screws had wood plugs.

To be cautious i will add a support on each siderail to prevent splitting as i have seen in some other reviews, with out it feels like a very sturdy bed
