A MIRACLE!! This fan is super quiet and exceeded my expectations! Can't beat the price for the quality. The rubber feet on this thing make a huge difference. I am using it to cool my WD UltraEx2 setup. Before this purchase one of my hard drives failed because the internal fan is so weak. This fan is a gamechanger and keeps both internal drives cool as a cucumber. Well worth the peace of mind.

One of my roku devices overheated recently, not sure why it didn't happen sooner if it happened at all. It sits on our comcast cable box, which is always warm. It had been there for well over a year, then recently, I got a thermal message while streaming on the roku. We basically only stream now and have been for a few months. The cable box is to get a few local channels and unlimited data at a specific rate.I had bought a pillar candle stand to put under the roku so air could circulate under it better, then later decided to get one of these fans. I don't know if it "fixed" the issue, but you can physically feel the difference when you touch the roku after streaming all day, it's considerably cooler. A week later, I ordered a second fan for the roku in our bedroom.I'm now back to order a couple more for external hdd's I have that tend to always run warm since they don't have any fans built in and they aren't SSD. Debating whether to get 40mm or just get the 80mm fans again... will probably get the 80mm since room isn't a problem and a larger fan can push more air more quietly anyway.

I connected this fan to my Western Digital NAS drive, and it's been highly efficient. The disk drive temperature came down from its usual 52 degrees to 40 degrees, and the drive fans are completely silent now. They are not even required to turn themselves on, since this AC Infinity fan works so smoothly and completely noiselessly. Its footprint is also perfect for placing on top of the NAS drive, and it is powered through the USB port of the drive itself.Highly recommended!

This fan unit is the perfect solution for my Roku that was exhibiting an onscreen thermal warning while using. I love that it is virtually silent at any speed (it has 3). It's footprint I just slightly smaller than that of my Roku and has really great feet/dampers that hold the Roku and the fan firmly. My Roku is no longer showing thermal warnings onscreen. I highly recommend this quality product and solution for an overheating Roku. A+

Got this fan to add additional cooling for a router. It's quiet and moves good air. Only thing one might want to consider is spacers to lift this fan up aways from the intended point of use to allow maximum air flow. Only talking 1/4 to 3/8 spacers.

I bought this for a couple potential scenarios. I have several fanless devices (switches, firewalls, etc.) that act up from time to time. So I think an external fan run off USB would be useful. The other is a mini computer with a custom fan that is no longer made by the manufacturer of fans. This allows me to put the fan external to the device and force air through it.The fan runs quiet on slow speed. In a quiet office/basement, I can hear the fan running (I listen for any new slight noise in case it indicates a problem). I'll stop and listen intently to try to find the noise and then realize it is just the fan. The rubber pads keep it off the surface enough to get sufficient airflow and do not vibrate the device. Works really well.

Also sehr flexibel.Stufenschalter, verschiedene Stufen. Ich komme immer mit Low aus. Bei Hintereinanderschaltung muss man vorne höher schalten, damit hinten noch genug ankommt. Serie, nicht parallel eben. Also: Geheimwaffe.Achso, ja, also, ne - man hört die Dinger nicht. Außer das Lüftergeräusch interferiert akkustisch mit andern Lüftern. Ansonsten surren die leise vor sich hin, sehr leise.

I have 3 of these fans cooling two devices. The first device I am cooling is my router. I bought a small QOTOM box to use as my router. The system includes an i3 with passive (no fan) cooling, where the case acts as a heatsink. The CPU would heat to 53 degrees during use, which isn't bad, especially for passive cooling. I put two of these fans on top of the box and pull the air away from the top of the box. The CPU now stays 43 or below degrees in temperature all the time. The 3rd fan is placed on top of my Western Digital Duo (two hard drives in a single case). I have had this device for many years and the temperature of both drives was 49 degrees or higher all the time. The more the drives were in use the higher the temperature. I have read the Duo does come with a fan, but it goes on around 55 degrees. As mentioned, I placed the fan on the top and have it pulling the air away from the top of the device. Within a day of using the fan, the hard drives temperatures dropped below 40 degrees, and are now around 32 degrees. The cooling is great but the fact that I can barely hear the fans when they are running is even better. Since both my router and the Western Digital Duo have USB ports, I just plugged the fans into their respective USB ports without having to worry about finding additional outlets.

Excellent product. I was honestly not expecting something that works so well for so cheap. I have my surface pro 4 and dock stuffed into a slim drawer at work, it powers 2 4k monitors and does a LOT of heavy computing so it gets very hot, even the dock gets hot. Of course it doesn't help that it's stuffed into a drawer. It was to the point where the CPU was being throttled and everything was running slow as molasses, and probably causing long term damage as well.I cut out a hole the size of the fan, got some #8 32 2" machine bolts and lock nuts and attached it to the bottom of my drawer. The long bolts were so I could use the rubber mounts. The fan blows outward, there is plenty of air coming in around the drawer. I immediately saw a difference in performance, PC ran as it should be running. In terms of noise, there is none. My office is fairly quiet, but I can't say it's funeral parlor quiet, but still I can't hear any noise at all. The fan is solid, no rattling, no ball bearing noise, and this is at full speed. Air output seems excellent, I can feel a strong output at about 4 inches or so away. My surface pro is cool to the touch so I know it's doing it's job.I also like that it comes with a daisy chain output USB port, so you can daisy chain multiple fans. I initially thought it was a USB bypass, but it doesn't work with peripherals such as a usb mouse. In the instructions it only references it as a fan daisy chain. I'm completely happy, but if I had a wish list I'd say consider making this a usb bypass because usb spaces are highly limited on my surface pro/dock setup. My only caveat, but this isn't the hardware's fault, is that when my PC is locked the fan stays on. That's just how USB works. I'm in search of a program that can allow me to change the hours the fan runs, as I don't need it to run when the PC is locked as it's not being used heavily. I also cannot put the PC to sleep because I need remote access to it, although I have considered wake on LAN as an option. My concern is I don't know how long the fan will last being used 24/7 like this, but even if I replace it once a year it's cheap enough.
