These little fans blow all the heat out and not up. Our fireplace stove is working more efficiently and safely. I heard a lot of cussing coming from the installer.

I've installed them in a network rack that is tightly secured to my wall. I did use the included rubber "washers" to dampen the vibration, but even at low speeds, I hear a low hum, like an electrical transformer through the walls of my house nearby. It's not a loud hum, but it's more than what I was expecting.Other than that, they are very powerful, easy to install, feel like they're very well-built and will last a long time.I haven't tried the solution just yet, but I am going to try to cut out some "washers" out of thin neoprene foam in order to further reduce the vibration. I'd say I'll try to update this review if it works, but I'll most likely forget.

I purchased these to aid in pushing the hot air in our basement from out wood stove through the floor vents. I was skeptical that it would make much of a difference, but these little fans really pack a punch! We noticed a drastic improvement in the air being circulated. The best part was seeing a decrease in the electric bill with our electric heat not kicking on nearly as much! out of recommend

I bought these to increase air flow into my workshop from the rest of the basement. After a little "Post-production modification" (zip tying one fan atop the other), they fit exactly into the space I had planned for them. They work quite well for the purpose.

These fans are great for my fireplace, they are not loud if you don’t use the grates, as I don’t need them very simple to install and set up. If i need more i will buy another set

I wanted a fan to push the air from our pellet stove to circulate heat better than the internal stove fan does. Our pellet stove fan does not run on the lowest heat/pellet setting so these fans are great for circulating the hot air from the stove while running it on low saving us a substantial amount on pellet use and it truly made a huge difference keeping our home warm this winter. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that you couldn’t change the direction the fan plug faces on each fan, but it was more of an aesthetic issue which really didn’t matter to me. Love the dial for fan speed. The fan is fairly quiet on the lower speeds and gets louder when cranked on high which is to be expected. Again, not an issue for me. The fans do not rattle or tick like many fans do which drives me to distraction. I’m impressed by the amount of air these little fans move and I plan on buying a few more sets. There’s so many uses for them other than just heat resistance functionality.

車中泊時に車の窓に取り付ける換気扇用として購入してみました。既にDIYでプラダンにUSBファン３個を取り付けた物を使用していたのですが、もっと風量が欲しいと思い再作成するつもりです。届いてまず驚いたのはその重量。フレーム部分がアルミ？の塊のような感じなので、１つでもけっこうずっしりときます。これは一長一短で、短所は重いためプラダン（３枚重ね）だけでは心もとない気がしてまだ製作には取り掛かれていません。長所としては、既存の物は車の窓を上げてプラダンを挟みこむ方法で取り付けるのですが、USBファンのプラフレームだと、窓を閉めすぎてしまうとフレームに過重がかかるようで、ファンの羽が１枚もげてしまいました。これはそういった心配はなさそうです。回転数は無段階で可変できるのですが、低速回転でも「ヒュイーーン」という音があるので正直静音ではないです。回転数を中（M）でも十分な風量で、最大にすると最早普通の換気扇並みです。この能力だったら１個でも良かったかなと思いました。せっかく２個あるので、吸（扇風機として）・排気に任意に変えられるよう、ネジ留めしないで設置できる方法を模索中です。ちなみにACはポータブルバッテリーから取ります。

風の強さは凄いです。最初は電気ストーブの暖房効果を拡散する目的でストーブの正面に向かい合うように設置して、MAXで付けてみて試しに部屋でタバコを吸ってみたら、煙が真横に流れて行ったんです。ファンの近くじゃなくて、部屋の真ん中とかでも同様で。普通、上に行く煙が横に進むのは異様な光景で、ストーブに煙が全部ぶつけられて可哀想でしたMAXだと、あまりの風の強さに暖房効果よりも体感温度が下がって寒かった...風量調節を上手くすると、電気ストーブでは室内温度の限界が19℃だったのに23℃まで暖かくなりました！循環って大事！ストーブの周りだけが暖かくて、足元は寒い現象は解決しましたこの部屋全体の空気が循環する風量って普通の大きい扇風機とか、エアコンのレベルに匹敵しますよね乾燥に弱い人には残念ですが12cmファンでこの風量は本当に凄いです。巻き込み防止のカバーと、ネジ、防振のゴム(ワッシャーみたいな)、L字のマウントが付いてて付属品も十分ですかね安心感があります私は全く使ってません今回は初期不良なのか、ON、OFF切り替えのカチッという音がせず、リモコンを回しても反応しない事があります。こねくり回すと付くので問題ありません配線も硬くて長くて太くて、取り回しが効きにくい感じですコンセント→リモコン→ファン1→ファン2って順番なんですけど、ファンからファンの部分の配線が長くて、ファンを隣に並べて使う場合は配線を8回折り、畳んで纏めました。切って、繋げる。が出来ると綺麗に収まりますけどそのままの使用だと少し利便性が低いと感じる所はありますなので中身や配線も弄れる人なら最強製品かと。車のエアコンフィルターと、活性炭を使って、タバコ用空気清浄機をDIYするのも良いなって思った。ストーブと併用した暖房効果も捨てられないし、換気扇としても優秀ですし。パソコンに外付けしても物凄い冷却効果ですし。どう使ってあげようか迷いながら数ヵ月経ってしまいました...製品が優秀すぎて、設計図とアイデアがどんどん湧いてきて決定できないあと2つくらい買わないと救われない病気になってしまいましたありがとうございました。

First off I would like to share I was extremely frusterated! Bought a new house with a gas fire place and thought it was odd no blower fan would engage when turning the wall switch on. After some closer inspection I realized it did not have a fan blower plugged in. Ok no problem hop on Amazon and order the best reviewed fan. Order shows up and realized my problem was bigger than that. The home builder closed in the bottom access plate with tile and thus the new fan blower was not going to fit in the space provided.After some research "measuring which I took for granted and did not do in the first place" figured out my options and everything was pointing toward AC Infinity Inc. Not only can they fit in the space provided but you have a dial control to adjust just how much fan you want on and when these guys are at full throttle they can move some air! The only trade off is at full throttle you get your wish along with a higher pitched sound while the motors are working. The sound comparison is no louder than your overhead fan in a bathroom or oven fan. About half throttle is more than enough.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend them for an alternative to a gas fireplace blower. The fans themsleves have other diverse applications that I had not considered before and will definately be looking at purchasing more for other air movement needs.

This fan is pretty amazing, I plugged this in and put it to max and it actually started sliding back from the strong air it generated. At max speed, the fan was still very quiet and at low speed it is barely audible. The frame around the fan is metal and strong. I will be using this to cool the garage an active vent, the speed control is a nice feature specially if you will be using indoor in an audio / video room. Great fans!UPDATE: Fans still working well, it really helps cool the garage down. I finally plugged in the kill-a-watt to see the usage of the 2 fans running.Low = 16 wattsMed = 27 wattsHigh = 41 wattsI have also connected this to a smart plug to schedule the fans to turn on in the afternoon, really impressed!

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these fans. I ordered the 1238 pair with the speed control. I installed them in a cross room vent to help circulate and even out air temperatures in my house. They worked great for that. They are extremely well built and I have had them continuously running since I received them. The only problem I see is they are slightly louder than I had expected. It’s a constant higher pitch noise similar to a microwave running. I used to have a 20” box fan circulating air and I would say this pair of 1238 fans are about the same decibel level just slightly higher pitched sound due to the increased RPM. It is also slightly louder on the exhaust air side than the intake side. I am running them on medium speed and they definitely move similar amount of air as the 20” box fan. On high these things are powerful. I would assume that if these were used in a stereo unit where the exit air side was facing inside the unit, the noise would be reduced fairly well. Using them on an open room to room project, be aware you will hear a constant “microwave type” hum. Overall I still feel they are 5 star quality fans if the noise wasn’t an issue.Edit: 25 October 2023Changed this from 4 stars to 5 stars. These have been running non stop in my house since I bought them in September 2018. They still work perfect. I highly recommend.
