This is the perfect material for shims to improve the fit and stability of squat rack attachments. For instance, my dip attachment would wobble side to side until I shimmed it with a single sheet of this ABS to get a rock-solid fit: cut and drilled a piece of the ABS using the UHDPE liner as a template, then screwed on the resulting shim behind the UHDPE. The same strategy fixes to loose fitting j-cups. It’s easy to cut with a utility knife, and easy to drill with wood bits.

Used these to cut crawl space vent covers. Put a dab of silicone near each corner to hold them in. Slice the dabs in the spring to remove them and repeat in the fall.

This worked perfectly for giving my crochet bag structure on the bottom. Very sturdy, easy to cut with a utility blade (you will need a cutting board)

Ordered this ABS with the plan to cut it into 2” strips. Using my table top hot wire trimmer, I set the guide for 2” with the heat to max VERY SLOWLY!! With a little practice the hot wire moved through the plastic cleanly. When finished it was simple to snap the 2” strip off with a clean cut edge.Be cautious of the fumes if you plan to use this method frequently.Note: This worked well for 1/16” ABS. I have no experience with thicker material. The key to success was moving at the rate the wire melted the plastic.I had tried other options such as a razor knife, and paper trimmer to cut the ABS. Neither of these options produced the clean straight edge my project required.👍👍👍👍👍 5 thumbs up from me!
