I used as a bookcase to accommodate my tall art books.its flat on top instead of slanted. Cheap looking but sturdy. Takes a while to put together.

This is a very SOLID podium.It has good weight and is sturdy so it can handle some "abuse". The wheels make it nice to maneuver when needed and It really didn't take too long to put together.The engineers did a great job on making sure even the most none "DIY-Mr/Mrs FixIt" type person can with relative ease get this guy together in a fairly short period of time. As long as they can handle around 20 to 30 lbs. (my guess at the weight).If you're looking for a podium that's not grossly over priced but can stand the test of time. I do not recommend this product at all.This is so cheaply made and I couldn't even fully assemble it. The box came with multiple broken pieces and the "wood" isn't really wood at all.It ended up in the trash for me.

This was easy to assemble and it's great value considering how heavy it is. Sturdy and nice quality. You can use it as a podium stand or shelving unit.

Definitely cheaper…. But looks fine and doesn’t cost much. Be careful when assembling not to split it. Over all easy to assemble.
