The ABIDISO Flat Leather Strap for Crafts, 2 MM Thickness Full Grain Leather Strip for DIY Art & Craft Projects - 1/2 Inch Wide 72.5 Inches Long Brown is a bit rougher than I expected. From all the photos, the edges of the leather look unfinished but still smooth. I wasn't expecting a finished edge but I was expecting the edges to be a bit smoother, like a cork board. Instead, I got edges like that are rough like a sidewalk. It's going to take quite a bit of work to smooth the edges.The leather will be nice for purse straps, basket handles, hand stamped tags and a bunch of other miscellaneous things... once the edges get smoothed down. So, if you don't mind a bit of extra leather work, this is decent amount of genuine leather for a good price.

Very good learher, was very happy with it! Had to return it because it was to thick for my application, my tailor couldn't use it. I was disappointed because i liked the quality!

this is a 1" x 72" strip of black leather. it is exactly what we hoped it would be!it looks like real leather and smells like real leather. it will work perfectly for our handmade products!things i like:+ it's black through and through+ flat & smooth finish on one side+ natural finish on the other side+ smells like real leather

As described and the dimensions are accurate. Really stretchy and needs a liner, because the "flesh" side is fabric-feeling, a consequence of their splitting process.

This is a nice piece of leather. It is soft and supple. Easy to work with. The color is even and true. No bad spots in the roll. Good value.

So you basically get 2 yards of this per order, and yeah $12 may seem like a lot, but remember this is REAL leather. And out of all the leather strips I've worked with the past couple years, this is my new favorite. It's well tanned and the thickness is about right for what I like to do - which is make tiny little belt accessories for my 10th Tales Of cosplay (if you know Tales games, you know they LOVE their random belt accessories). I got these for Law from Tales of Arise, and they're already working well with the buckles I have, and attaching them to the bracers. This leather is easy to work with, easy to edge, easy to stitch. Would recommend!

I ordered this full grain leather strap for use on purses and tote bags that I make. The brown is very very dark and it looks great against lighter fabrics. The leather is good quality, very smooth and no flaws. The reverse side is rougher but that won't be visible for my purposes.At just a few dollars per foot, I'm pleased with the value given the quality of this leather and I recommend it without reservation.
