Similar to other reviews, the straps deteriorated in sunlight and disintegrated after one year. I like the overall design of these bags (size, double zippers, strap length) but the strapping is obviously not robust enough to be outside in the sun on a full time basis. Disappointing. I'd like a refund or replacement.This version of the weight bags is no longer available but a similar version (burgandy and black) is currently for sale. The size is slightly different and the straps and buckles have been replaced with velcro straps.

Bought these for a canopy tent that is used 1-2 times each week. Filled them with sand not quite all the way. Thought I would be really happy with them because of the reviews reporting that they were sturdy and well made. Liked the idea of the double zipper for preventing the sand leaking out.Within 2 weeks of use the sand began leaking out. Took a bit of searching but the leak occurred at a seam where the bag attached to the center connecting section about half way up the seam. The fabric pulled out of the stitching. I was willing to allow for a one off, but the following week another bag failed at the same spot and a third one failed a couple weeks later. All in the same spot.Of the 4 weight bags in the set only one has remained intact with the other three now unusable.The reviews were great when I was researching these to replace weight bags I'd had for 6 years. I'm very disappointed and feel these were a waste of the money spent of them.

EDIT: 2 years later and these bags are doing well. They have not fallen apart, ripped or failed at all. The paver sand I put in them does not work it's way out of the zippers or any of the seams.Original review:Decent weights bags, price is ok. They have some nice features that give me hope for their longevity. The material is fairly thick and heavy duty. It's also lined so sand won't work its way thru the fabric. The tops have 2 zippers to close them which was nice. It will also prevent the sand inside form working it's way out.Quality control is lacking though which is why they only get 4 stars. The zippers are sewn on in different directions from one to the next (i.e. on one bag both zippers zip in the same direction and on another they zip in opposite directions). There is no rhyme or reason as they were almost all different. One of the inside zippers was broken right out of the box. The 2 sides were sewn in so the teeth did not line up so it would not zip. The shuttle came off because of this mismatch but I was able to make some adjustments to it to fix the problem. The velcro straps are also sewn on in different directions and a few of them barely have enough length to make it around the bags when full to secure them to your canopy legs.All in all, they're decent and should do the trick. I have seen worse bags.

Happy with this purchase so far. Purchased these bags 1.5 years ago. Used this past weekend for the first time, 3 days full days at the beach. Held 10 x 10 tent steady in light winds of 6 -12 mph (only needed 2 bags filled with sand). Sand worked very well; water quickly leaked out.Durability 5 * - materials seem high quality based on limited use, so giving benefit of the doubt. Really impressed with the smoothness of the dual zipper system in sandy conditions. The velcro held strong.Sturdiness 4.5 * - must fill half way for the bags to stand up on its own and for the opening to stay wide enough to fill without holding. The bags are very sturdy once filled with sand.Value 4 * - these bags are easy to use, work well, and look good. Grocery bags filled with sand and secured to the tent function just as well in light to moderate winds, so there are much less expensive solutions - but come on, these look a lot better.

The picture said the length is 45cm, but it's only 35cm indeed, Very misleading. I'm disappoint to receive 4 small bags

These bags are very well made and much larger than the ones that came with my canopy cover. They are made with a tough fabric and have double stitching everywhere. The top closure has a double zipper which allowed me to pile pond pebbles above the upper edge of the bag, pull the cover down over them and then zip it shut. The end result is a very sturdy weight bag with no sagging. The velcro straps are a bit short for my liking. I was able to strap the bags around a 1-1/2 inch post with about a little over an inch of overlap, but 3 or 4 inch overlap would obviously be tighter. All said and done, I do like these bags. I think they're a good value, and I recommend them.

These canopy weight bags are amazing. The materials and craftsmanship are top notch. They are very durable and built to last. I live in Southern California and have a large 20' canopy. When those Santa Ana winds kick up, my awning was ready for lift off. I was tying ladders and furniture dollies to the awning to keep it from going airborne. I was going to buy 4" pvc pipes, cap the ends, fill them with sand and strap them to the awning legs. Luckily, I found these and easily filled the bags with sand, secured each with the double zipper, and strapped them to the awning legs with the hook and loop straps. Much more attractive than ladders or pvc pipes and more affordable as well. The awning hasn't budged an inch since installing these weight bags even in some very strong winds. One of the best purchases that I have made in a long time. Highly recommend this product!
