This is one of the best GMRS antennas. Would buy again. Recommend you get one too.

If you don't want to spend the same amount of money on an antenna as the radio itself cost, these are a great option. I've used these on multiple Baofeng models and have been very pleased with the results. On my AR-5RM (yes, I know it's not type-certified for GMRS use), I can hit a repeater that is 14 air-miles away consistently. I also own and have tested the Nagoya NA-701G and NA-701C and the Abbree is the most consistent of them all from that range (though the NA-701C is my favorite all-arounder). I own a total of 3 of the antennas, all orange, and they all perform very well, with SWR's of 1.1:1 on the 1st I purchased and 1.2-1.3:1 on the other two. I've also recommended them to a few friends. Keep in mind though, that these are 5/8 wave antennas, so if you are in a dense urban environment, they MAY actually perform worse than a shorter antenna. This is no fault of the antenna, just the fact that 1/4 wave and 5/8 wave antennas perform differently, and should be used accordingly depending on the surrounding terrain/environment.

Very good coverage for my Wouxun Kg-s65g, from inside home pulls in NOAA weather reports crystal clear as the stock antenna would not pick up. Nice color orange hard to find in stock.only issue I had was the machine threads on connector of antenna was not screwing on smoothly as the OEM rubber ducky. All in all a great antenna

The antenna is great. The shipping, less so. I’ve had to order it 3 times because 2 of the shipments got lost or rejected by customs. Not sure how an antenna is supposed to be a problem for clearing customs, but whatever…

I reach repeaters routinely that are miles away with my 5-watt handheld with clear signal reports. Can't ask for more than that. The orange color removes any confusion with use on my amateur radios and associated bands.

I saw several reviews that said this antenna has range rivaling a Nagoya 771. My tests showed very poor performance. Using 2 TIDRADIO H8s and tested against the TIDRADIO stubby antenna and the TIDRADIO 771. Both of the ABBREE antennas vastly under-performed the stubby. Tried all antenna combinations and the common factor was teh ABBREE. Maybe a bad batch got through QC.
