These come in a resealable envelope that doesn’t reseal well. Once you get these wet, besides the nitrate tests, you can’t really tell what the other levels are at. The colors get runny.

I am a little paranoid, so compared these with another strip and the master test kit. They all read the same, which was great. I like the ease of using strips for regular checks and I like having the ammonia for initial setups. And the price was great. My only complaint is these have a faint smell that bothers me. It doesn't bother anyone else in the family, so it could just be me.

I like this stripe. This test strip has quick result and easy to understand. It gave me enough information about my tank. It's accurate.

This is a resealable envelop of 25 water test strips.. for aquarium water. This is new to me, I haven't had an aquarium in decades.. My water is from a well, in an area know for natural springs. I expected it to be pretty good, no added chlorine or fluoride.. All you do is dip the little strip in for 2 seconds. Shake it off and after 30 second you can read the first 4 parameters...ph, alkalinity, carbonate, and hardness. Then you have to wait another 3 minutes, to read the rest, Chlorine, Nitrite, Nitrate, and Ammonia. The timing is important to the color comparisons provided on the back of the package.. The longer the wet test patches sit, the more they change color, so follow the instructions. I tested the aquarium, and my standby water supply and it seems my water has a slightly high pH, and a tiny bit alkaline. Things I need to address. An interesting aside, is that the local pet store guaranteed their fish for three days, providing you showed them a good water test strip.. Overall I am really happy with these water tests strip, even if I do need to make some adjustments to my tap water.

A very convenient and versatile Test Strip combo that includes Ammonia testing. It's an All-in-One at a great price that saves you money. It's accurate and easy to read. Excellent value.

I got these test strips to test the hardness of our home water, mostly to ensure that our water softener was working as it should. The strips come in a resealable pack, with the strip color guide printed on one side of the packet. There are very simple instructions on how to test your water and it only takes a few seconds to get results. This is much simpler and easier than some other kits I have used in the past. The results (as instructed) are best read in natural daylight in order to really see some of the slight variations between the colors. For water hardness, this test seemed accurate (big variation between the results from our softened water vs unsoftened). The kit is reasonably priced, quick, and easy to use.
