This is a very simple background when you don’t want to overwhelm the focus of your cards. It embosses clearly and evenly. It has become one of my favorite backgrounds.

I stumbled onto this embossing folder while browsing and I'm so glad I ordered it. First up, I embossed a soft brown piece of cardstock giving it several passes in my Big Shot to get a really good impression. Then I tore the edges all around. to give it a ragged look. Whoa! Love it! I read the reviews before I got it and there were a lot of pros and some cons. The one that stuck in my mind is the one who said it was suppose to look like burlap but did not. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I have several colors of burlap on hand and frequently use them as a background on my card. Well, this embossing folder gives a good replica of the real thing! Like all embossing folders you can change the look by making a deeper or lighter impression. I know I will use it!
