I'm always seeking tactical gear that can withstand rugged use while properly organizing for my brother. He loves everything military! I took a chance on this military notebook cover and couldn't be more pleased with how well it's met his needs. The quality immediately stood out to me - you can tell this cover is made from seriously heavy-duty materials built to last through rough handling. The durable nylon along with sturdy zippers and reinforced stitching gives confidence this thing will last.He really appreciates the ample storage too with the pen sleeves, interior pockets, and perfectly sized binder rings that hold all his notebooks and tablets securely without being bulky. There's a specific spot for everything he needs access to thus keeping him more organized. While built as rugged tactical gear, the cover looks neat and professional, insignia patches and donning in official OCP camo. If you have a military loving person in your life, I am sure they would love this as much as my brother does. I highly recommend it.

This is a well-made binder cover that is less expensive than the name-brand. The materials are great quality and seems to be very durable. The stitching is very strong and uniform. The zippers operate smoothly and are well secured. I like that the exterior zipper has double pulls and extends into the binder spine slightly to allow for one to be completely tucked away. This is great for keeping dust out and offers at least some water protection. The interior is thoughtfully designed with options for most common accessories and a pouch for even uncommon items. I appreciate that there are secure pockets for several different pens or pencils. Anyone who has used this style binder in the field or down range knows that having everything you might need in one kit makes all the difference in getting tasks done efficiently. This definitely delivers that capability. I would recommend this.

I’ve found these notebook covers to be pretty decent - I have the smaller 3x5 cover also - and a cheaper alternative to Rite in the Rain’s covers which are pretty pricey and have less internal storage space. I really like the two storage compartments on the right side of the cover, one being a slip pocket and the other a full-height zippered pocket. I tried slipping my Mead notebook in the notepad area but it was slightly too large, these are designed for Rite in the Rain pads or similar in any case, which I can’t find at the moment (coincidentally why I wanted a cover for it). This one zips shut rather than velcro and I’d say the zippers are just OK, they feel a little rough and it’d be nice if they were YKK or SBS but they’re unbranded. They feel like they’ll last awhile so I’m not particularly worried about it. The rest of the notebook is constructed well and the sewing is nice and straight.Aside from the 2 internal compartments, I like the ability to carry 4 pens or pencils rather than the 1 or 2 usually found inside these covers. The nametape loop area on the front is useful for labeling with another loop field below it for a standard size morale patch, both nice features. The smaller Vepkoit cover has worked out nicely and I expect this one to as well. I’ll probably add some cord to the zippers for pulls, although it’d be nice if they came with some pulls from the manufacturer. They’re built well enough for something that mostly lives inside my pack, have a good amount of additional storage space and I think it’s a better bang for the buck than ‘official’ covers that run nearly twice the price.
